  Relaxing stay in a great resort

  We spent 2 weeks here. Family of 4 with 2 adult daughters. There is something for everyone here. We preferred the quieter pool where an excellent pool bar service is provided by Francisco and Manuel. They work so hard and make amazing cocktails. The food in the buffet is excellent. Great choice at breakfast, lunch and dinner. Eric at breakfast always greeted us with a smile and great coffee service! High quality and good cleanliness all round. Spoilt for choice. We tried all the restaurants. All were good except the Italian which we didn’t return to. Our favourites were the Blue Moon, the Mexican and the steakhouse. We had no problem with booking the Japanese and steakhouse online when we wanted to go there. The Japanese was fun and great food too. The bars are great. We loved the piano lounge after dinner listening to the talented pianist and with superb bar service. We are not ones to seek out evening entertainment but we loved the two male singers (la voce I think), the saxophonist and the Michael Jackson show (incredible dancing and acrobatics). Accommodation was nice, spacious and kept clean. Our water and minibar was replenished daily. The coffee bar was excellent- fantastic selection of coffees and cakes. The beach is nice too but not suited to snorkelling on this coast. Beach bar and restaurant were also very nice. All in all a great experience. The staff are fantastic and the resort is very professionally managed. My only criticism is that it would benefit from having some showers around the pools so that people should shower off sand before going into the pools. Nice to see Pinky the flamingo each day and the cats too!

  We highly recommend Ocean Blue Sand !!

  We enjoyed the experience overall at the Resort. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was excellent !! Felix the shuttle driver was amazing and professional in every sense of the word!! We hope we can visit again next year !

  Lively atmosphere

  On arrival greeted warmly, taken to reception staff quick very friendly. Buggy takes you straight to accommodation. Room size big, bathroom big. Shower large no bath or bidet. Shower mostly cold reorted twice. Bed very big, large tv.wardrobe big but unfortunately first door wasted no rail to hang long clothes. Balcony big. No pull out washing line. Main restaurant food varied staff polite, well organised and professional. Tried to book speciality restaurant using app as suggested unable to do so. American restaurant great burgers and ambiance. Bar staff EVERY bar quick entertaining and great memories. Night club worth a visit, we went nightly. Sports bar lively all kids on vacation very friendly. Animation Team work so hard, very energetic however, some of the games very drawn out. Night entertainment 8/10 some acts better than others although still good. Pool area large always managed to get sunbeds. Rooms kept spotless, beds always fresh. Grounds staff always busy. Mike's Coffee Bar delicious as was duck.pond outside. All in all very good holiday.

  A true paradise, delighted to return to Ocean Blue and Sand. Excellent service.

  This is my second time visiting this beautiful hotel, Ocean Blue and Sand, and I'm absolutely delighted to be here. The food is very good, the service is excellent, the rooms are always clean, but what we loved most was the service at the Privilege pool by Daniel De La Rosa. 😎😎😎 Daniel De La Rosa was incredible. He worked tirelessly to provide excellent service during my vacation. Always smiling and helping with everything. I also want to highlight the service of Harry, our butler, and Brendy in customer service. Everyone was very helpful, and I will definitely return. 🥂🥂🥂

  Not worth the cost

  This hotel is definitely not 5 star. The property was clean but outdated. Our room (building 4) had visible mold and water damage. The maids restocked towels and made the beds but rarely cleaned any other surfaces even though we tipped well. The buffet had decent presentation but the food was lackluster in flavor, items were often labeled incorrectly and basic sanitation seemed lacking. The restaurants were nearly impossible to get reservations at but even they weren’t very good. The drinks tasted like soap or cheap liquor. When I asked for an aperol spritz I was told I’d have to upgrade to privilege for an extra $85/day per person. I’ve stayed at multiple all inclusive resorts before and never had an issue getting drinks. Some of the staff were very friendly and helpful while others were not at all. Mikes coffee was good but also inconsistent with quality. In order to get pool chairs you had to go out early and reserve them. It was impossible to get a chair on the beach. I ended up getting sick 2 days in with horrible stomach issues that lasted the entire trip. For the cost I would not recommend this hotel.
