Spring break trip
I loved this trip! The blue team was so fun and made our trip very memorable. Ranger, Jerry, shaggy, Pokémon, and Jorge were all so nice to us! The pool is very nice and clean and there are two swim up bars. Everyone who works here was so helpful and quick to help us.
Privilege? I don't know
I stayed at privilege building 6. I don't know what or where was privilege. The best part of the resort is the beach. I was support to have a butler, at the end of the week I almost forgot I had a butler, that's how much I saw or spoke to him. Some stuff are helpful and some aren't. The food was ok. I think it was over priced for what you get.
Ocean Blue & Sand Review
I had such a fun time here with my friends on spring break. Very family friendly and I felt very safe at this resort ( it was my first time out of the USA). The food and drinks were amazing and the workers are so friendly and polite, especially the members of Blue Team.
Almost, but not quite.
On arrival, checking in, I asked for a ground floor, central room. Although that was not what they had planned, the check-in person happily accommodated my request. the check-in was smooth and easy. A great start. the room was clean and comfortable although I didn't like climbing into a defunct whirlpool tub to have a shower. we had a minor problem with our safe (our fault) and they sent a Tech. right away. Also there was a light out in the bathroom which they fixed ASAP. Still all is good. The property is a bit dated but well maintained. I read great reviews about the food. I am sorry to say that the reviewers were gravely mistaken or something has radically changed. The food itself was not bad but either the preparation, mostly overcooked or it was too cold, which made it inedible or unappetizing. This included the French Restaurant and the Steak House. However, I never went hungry. Still okay. It was impossible to get a beach chairs unless you put towels on them around 6:00 a.m. The same was true for pool chairs although you may still get one between 6:30 and 7. There are not enough chairs and/or umbrellas for the number of guests. Somewhat disappointing. The staff were all very polite and personable especially the Customer Service Reps who were willing to help us with things that I'm sure were out of their scope of work. Kudos to them. A "train" runs around the resort. So if walking is not your thing you can limit the distance you need to walk. The Casino isn't very big and was not busy at all. I found myself playing head on with the dealer, which I really don't like, most of the time A big downside is their efforts to sell you time share. They are relentless. All in all, it wasn't a bad experience but would I go back? NO.
Will smith made our trip so special, among other workers on the resort. Everyone is so happy and lively, there is great entertainment, and a wide variety of food. We also loved shaggy, DJ, and many other workers on the resort. Rooms were clean and room service came each day.
