Requirements for Weddings in Costa Rica
Birth Certificates of both (Bride and Groom): Original and copy
Passport: Original and copy
Certificate of civil state: Single state certificate of the home country. Final divorce decree if either party is divorced, death certificate if either part is widowed. Only originals.
Two witnesses: They cannot be relatives. (If the bride and groom do not bring their own witnesses, the hotel can provide them)
Additional information: Occupation, addresses, nationalities, ages, of both, bride and groom and witnesses.
The bride and groom must be at the property at least 4 days prior to the wedding date, in order to finalize the necessary paper work.
Ceremony must be scheduled with officials at least one month in advance.

Very nice hotel, variety of dishes at the buffet for breakfast lunch and dinner. Hard to get around, a lot of stairs and steep hills for older people with mobility issues. Tho they do have a shuttle service which is very accommodating it is very hard to get in and out from for older people the shuttle is too high with narrow steps. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife on the resort but you definitely have to watch for the raccoons that are not scared of people and want to come into your rooms.

I arrived on December 2nd, and I am shocked by what I found here. Do not trust the positive reviews — this place is a complete disappointment. You are essentially throwing your money in the garbage. Forget about star ratings; this is absolutely the last place you should choose. I’m not even going to talk about check-in or welcome services — they simply do not exist. Yes, nature is beautiful, but that’s the only positive thing, and it has nothing to do with the hotel itself. Food: Below average and extremely basic. Drinks: If you enjoy sparkling wine in the morning while on vacation — forget it, it doesn’t exist here. Rooms: Just okay. Towels: Don’t expect to have fresh towels after coming back from the beach. Costa Rican rum: Not available unless you are a “premium” guest, and even then, only in one specific bar. Pools: Dirty and swamp-like. Completely unacceptable. Overall, this has been a huge disappointment. I genuinely feel robbed. For the amount of money we paid, the experience is nowhere near what was promised. Do not come here.

Excellent service from all staff members. A special thank you to the entertainment at the pool,,Hilary and Katerine went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. The food was very good in all restaurants and the service was excellent.

Beautiful resort!
If you want to relax this is the place. Beautiful surroundings, pools and rooms. The food could be improved, but the bartenders make up for it. Excellent activity staff, choice of activities, and towel service. We really enjoyed our trip. 10 days would probably be perfect.

It was a great location. Housekeeping needs much improvement. Food was good overall, except snack bar requires improvement on selection. Bar service and restaurant service was fantastic in lobby lounge and Snack bar. The pool was great not to deep, downfall no jacuzzi on resort except in spa where you must pay.
