Great value for price! Lovely stay
Bed & pillows was comfortable. Price for value was good. 1x Phone charging outlet in room did not work. Beer in fridge in room, helpful it was included with all inclusive rate. Breakfast opened a bit late for attending some tours, but the 24 hour snack bar was always open. Had to reserve each night for each supper, day of, unable to book in advance which could have saved some issues. Don't forget to book a dinner reservation or you won't get a seat. Bars had good hours, nice cocktails. Got late checkout x2 hours, could probably have checked out & used facilities instead for free?

The good: The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful the entire stay. Our room was a on a corner with a wraparound balcony overlooking booth the ocean and the downtown/lagoon area. It was really nice! The entertainment team was fun! They had activities around the pool each afternoon and even had backup things to do when it rained. The bad: The beach is horrible. It is very small and the entire thing is shaded. It is located right next to the Isla Mujeres ferry, which made it smell like diesel fumes the entire day. We didn't even bother sitting on the beach as it smelled so terrible. The check in process is very slow and the front desk staff doesn't seem to be in much of a hurry to assist anyone. They would mysteriously disappear into the back room, without saying anything, while in the middle of helping you. It was weird. The food was terrible. I would not consider myself to be a picky eater, but I had a tough time finding anything with flavor. It was all blah. The best meal was at the Mexico Lindo restaurant, which we only ate at one time. We ended up going offsite for a few of the meals. The drinks were clearly watered down. Overall, they tasted good, but I barely even got a buzz after drinking all day. You're better off sticking with mixed drinks/liquor or beer. And lastly, don't let them talk you into doing a 'tour' of their sister resort on the south end. It is a timeshare pitch. We were told we could go there, spend the day on the beach, get lunch and a tour, and have a relaxing day. Nope, not at all. After being adamant we were not purchasing a timeshare, they could not get us out of the hotel fast enough. I was not happy. In the end, it was an average vacation for a decent price. Would I recommend it to anyone? Probably not to someone I like...

Nice place, could of been better
The place could do better. The activities weren't that great. The beach isn't really a beach but a bay.

We didn’t know food could be this bad. The buffet was absolutely disgusting and the snack bar was shockingly worse. I don’t even know what else to say…. Snack Bar: Pizza? Horrendous Burritos? Umm is the meat even cooked? Taquitos? Where is the filling….? Drinks? Watered down to nothing Buffet: Burger - inedible “Fajita” bar - a joke Salad bar - awful Rice - dry Lentils - legitimately haven’t tasted something worse in my life On top of the nasty food, the staff seems miserable. We are beyond disappointed and cannot express how much of a waste of money this experience has been
