Dec 24, 2025I would not recommend this hotel.
I stayed at this hotel for one week in mid-December 2025, and overall my experience was disappointing. The beach is very nice—clean, beautiful, and well maintained. The pools are generally good; however, the best pool is reserved for members only, with a long-term membership offered for 25 weeks over 25 years, which limits access for regular guests. Unfortunately, the food was totally bad and was the biggest problem of my stay. The quality was extremely poor for an all-inclusive resort in Mexico. Because of this, during the last three days I only ate salad, as most of the food was simply inedible. Even the à la carte restaurants were disappointing. The steakhouse served very low-quality meat, the oriental restaurant was a nightmare, and only the Mexican restaurant was somewhat acceptable. Conclusion: Despite the nice beach and pools, the very poor food quality ruined the experience. I would not recommend this hotel.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! The staff were all lovely to deal with, the grounds are beautiful, and we loved seeing the animals that we don’t see at home.

Good experience
Amazing hotel,the concierge Andrea Caba was really nice.We been here 5 times and will be back.The rooms and everything was perfect .We will be back next year and will love to meet Andrea again.hope so will meet her again .Building 22 is the best building and also all staff is nice and friendly.

Dec 23, 2025Nice resort, but do not go for the entertainment
Stay in the Royal Club, very nice and the restaurant is a huge bonus not having to go to the buffet. The entertainment was all cancelled, but not until you walked there, waited 1/2 an hour and then asked. Beach is very nice and relaxing, but is not your typical beach, it is more of a lagoon, we loved it.

Booked 2 adults and one child through Expedia. Daughter is 15 and online booking stated to book under 17 as a child. When we arrived we had to pay an additional $1190usd for my daughter. The resort said she is considered an adult. Expedia said child. Seemed an exorbitant amount to pay for changing my 15 year old to an adult when it was Expedias fault. The grounds were fantastic, so much wildlife. Monkeys, fireflies, coatis, agoutis, barracuda, octopus and one large ray.
