Very NOISY, no sleep!
We stayed here when we were in town for a wedding. At first glance it looks like a really nice hotel BUT if you want to get any sleep make sure you bring ear plugs and get a room that does NOT look over the lobby. There was so much noise coming through the balcony door it was like our bed was in the lobby. With a wedding at the hotel (lots of drunk people) and a football game on the TV the noise was so bad we had to put the A/C fan to "on" position all night to try and drown out the noise. But that couldn't cover up the noise from all the drunk people in our hallway talking very loudly, dancing, laughing, and slamming doors from midnight until 2 a.m. When called the front desk they said they would take care of it but they did nothing. We would NEVER stay here again!

Very nice hotel in the suburbs…
Suburban location close to highway. Attached to very good Irish pub w decent beer and food selection. Very nice and relatively modern lobby and spacious clean rooms. Only issue are the relatively loud air conditioning units in the rooms. Need to fix them. Friend suggested putting a small towel on the unit door to stop the vibrations.

Nice hotel, but somewhat remote
Very clean and comfortable hotel. Food service was excellent. Downside is that it is rather remote. There isn't much nearby. Moreover, it's about 18 miles from MSP airport. Fortunately, Uber and Lyft are readily available and can take you anywhere in the Twin Cities.

Staff entered room without permission to "calm" dog down because they were barking.
Upon checking into the hotel, we told the front desk staff that we had 2 dogs at least twice. Not once did we fill out additional paperwork or leave a cell phone number for emergencies. There was a wedding and hockey tournament visitors at the hotel that weekend and the halls were very loud all night. Our dogs are not constant barkers but did bark with all the commotion a few times during the night. The following day we left the room for a game and upon our return, there was a letter taped to the door. The letter said that we needed to remove our dogs or stay with them and not leave them unattended. They were barking so the staff went into our room to "calm" down the dogs. Not a single phone call was made to let us know of the situation. Our dogs are not vicious but who just goes into a room with dogs they don't know to "calm" them down?! Terrible way to handle the situation and since it is a pet friendly hotel, you would think they have protocols in place for situations like this. We have stayed in hotels for the past 3 years with our little dogs and have NEVER had an issue. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE A DOG WITH!!

Nice hotel! Just a few things that could have made it better
Easy to get to off the freeway. The bed and pillows weren't my favorite but they worked for one night. The bathroom counter was super spacious and nice as was the shower. No free breakfast. Cool looking hotel from the outside. There was free parking.
