Loss Prevention Extremely Helpful :)
We had a great stay at the Biscayne Bay Marriott during the Miami Boat Show. After working the show all day, it was very convenient and relaxing. I had an amazon package delivered during the show and that process was super easy. Now that I am home, I placed another amazon order, and forgot to change the shipping address so my package went to the hotel. I spoke with Xavier Spaniel in Loss Prevention and not only was he kind and friendly but extremely helpful in getting my packages sent to me. Top notch customer service.

Stay away - Overpriced and incompetent staff. Please read review!!!
I am writing this review as honest as I can. I believe it's my responsibility to share the incompetence that we met in Miami during our stay at this hotel. Now, this is supposed to be a nice and luxury hotel located in the center of Miami. It was expensive. Way overpriced compared to the quality and service. Our family went on a 7-day vacation and three rooms at this hotel was around $9000. That is a lot of money for a standard hotel. I emailed the hotel in advance and asked if it would be possible to pay in advance since it's a large sum and didn't want to have problems with our European credit cards. That was not possible. We had to pay upon checkout although they would reserve a certain amount at check-in as a precaution. When we checked in, we wanted to know the total price, but the first receptionist couldn't tell us the exact amount due to the complicated calculation of taxes. Thats what he actually said when we checked in. They made their reservations for the money and told us we would settle all when we checked out. Then the problems started. Two out of the three rooms, they started to charge an additional $200-300 per day per room. Without telling us. Just more reservations on our cards. On day for, the reserved money was actually withdrawn on our cards for around $1600. And they made another reservation. Again, without telling us. We spent a lot of time at the front desk and talked to senior manager MS. At first, she told us that the accounting department made a mistake. Only later to tell us that it's completely normal to charge the cards once the amount exceeds $1600. So, I guess we are the first ever in history to stay more than three days, since not even the senior manager knew about this. Even after this, they tried to charge one credit card about 5 times in one day the amount of $300. The credit card company just blocked the hotel due to all the suspicious activity. When we finally checked out, they "accidentally" charged one room on the completely wrong credit card. So, we had to keep in contact and spend a lot of time to fix these issues. Which we had to fix ourselves since the hotel did not. We were given the business card for the senior manager MS, which phone number did NOT work. The last day we were offered M-club privileges and free breakfast as an apology. The M-club is the biggest joke i have ever seen. Some free cheap drinks and the driest sandwich ever. Even worse than airplane meals. Stay away. The rest of the hotel is average. The rooms are nice but standard. Nothing special. The pool is small, and you have to be down early to make sure you get a spot. The appropriate price according to the standards would be around $100/night. Not $500. Way overpriced. So, what was supposed to be a nice relaxing vacation, was worsened by the hotel experience. I have stayed in several other US (and European) cities, but this is the worst I have ever experienced. No transparency. The staff was incompetent. Just came up with excuses but didn't know what the f*ck was actually happening. It caused stress to keep overcharging our credit cards. We spent too much time at the reception tried to solve things that should have been done the right way to start with. We will never stay at a Marriot hotel ever again. I hope this review warns other and hopefully they will choose more wisely. The only way to make this good again is to refund the whole stay. That's how terrible and unprofessional the whole thing was. Regards

clean, waterfront
great views, comfortable room, recently updated, no carpet thus no mold smells, walking distance to publix, nice lounge on lobby floor, fridge in room, parking available but pricey note not a lot of restaurants nearby, but check out the happy hour at casablanca next door

Good place to stay but explore more options
This property is located very close to downtown and is right next to the water. Great views! The staff were super friendly, and want to specifically call out Mr.Yazdi Patel who helped out with our shipping logistics (we were there for a conference). Great facilities - superb outdoor pool and bar area and a pretty good gym. The gym can get crowded at times. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant if you are a vegetarian..barring a couple of sides they have nothing. And pricey too! Overall very happy with my stay.

Disappointing Experience at Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay
I am extremely disappointed with my stay at the Miami Marriott Biscayne Bay. First of all, the cleanliness was unacceptable. Despite being there for several days, our room was never cleaned. No fresh towels, no bed-making, nothing! It's baffling how a hotel of this supposed caliber can overlook such basic services. To make matters worse, we had specifically booked a room for our anniversary, and to our surprise, we were given a room with a queen bed instead of a king, as requested. It was extremely frustrating, especially when we were looking forward to a special experience. When we addressed it with the staff, the response was lackluster, and they didn't seem to care at all about fixing the issue. And let’s talk about customer service – it was absolutely horrible. The staff seemed uninterested, unhelpful, and honestly just rude. It's one thing for a hotel to fall short on amenities, but when the staff adds to the frustration, it’s a dealbreaker. All in all, this hotel was a huge disappointment, and I won’t be returning. There are plenty of other places in Miami that actually know how to treat their guests. Avoid this place if you can!
