Dated establishment. Noisy room. Disappointed.
Not to Marriott standards and we’ve stayed in many of their brands. Constant rumble in room on top of aircon noise. No bottled water and assumption that everyone drinks coffee? basin water not cold and hot not hot both tepid and could not get any to change with extra long run. Hot food served on freezing plates? Went to bar for a drink bartender ‘flung’ iPad to us no greeting or explanation of what to do. Just was praising us as we stood in line. Very condescending. We got off a bus after a long flight all we needed was a keycard. Why keep stating you’re doing great well done as we crept forward??? Only positive was breakfast. WiFi very hit and miss. Huge queue for one working lift and no one mentioned the other lifts around the corner.

Unsanitary and disgusting
From the time we arrived at 1:00am. to the time that we left, we had a less than adequate experience. We could not check in to our room at the front desk because their Internet was down and we had to supply them with proof of our check-in on their app to even get into our room. As soon as we got to the room, we were super tired from traveling and went right to bed. When we woke up in the morning, we found that our sheets in our bed had not been changed from whoever stayed in our room prior to us, because there was dried blood on the sheet and the duvet. This was appalling to think that we slept in a bed that had blood from somebody else on the sheets. Can you imagine finding out that you slept in a bed with somebody else’s blood for an entire night? We will never just go to bed and not look in the sheets for the rest of our lives. We informed the manager and she apologized and was very sorry for what she had found because she was in dismay as much as we were. We went downstairs to breakfast and arrived in the restaurant at 10:45am and were told that only the buffet was being served. We wanted a prepared meal for breakfast from a menu, but that was not an option. After we began to eat at the buffet, we saw prepared breakfast meals coming out to other tables and when we ask our waiter about it, he said that it was too late to order from the menu. When I scanned the QR code and saw that menu was served until 11:00 AM. I was very disappointed. We did not want buffet food. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!! I wish there was negative stars. We will never recommend this Marriott hotel!! SafetyTotally unsanitary and unsafe.

Poor Customer Service at Front Desk and Unauthorized opening of Amazon Packages
Very poor customer service at the front desk. You have to battle to get their attention and the attitude of the staff is very dismissive to gusts. Additionally, I ordered some items on Amazon and had them delivered to the hotel. Six packages were delivered to my room and I was charged $7 for each package. When I checked Amazon they confirmed with a picture indicating two packages were delivered. Conclusion: they opened my consolidated Amazon package without my permission so they could charge me for each of the smaller packages inside.Very unethical and disgusting behavior.

Good for an overnight stay when traveling through MIA airport
We stayed here as we landed at MIA on a Friday and our connecting flight was the following day. The shuttle was a convenient way to get to and from the airport. Our room (4842) was on the 8th floor. Luckily, it was written on the key holder 8th floor! The room had more than enough space for two people including a sitting area. The shower was spacious with a glass door and not the plastic curtains at some hotels. If we had to overnight in MIA, we would definitely stay here again!

BEWARE OF MARRIOTT
Guests BEWARE our vehicle was stolen from the hotel property last week. No accountability from Marriott. Park at your own risk. Would not recommend hotel at all. This is not the first car that was stolen from your hotel. There was another car stolen the same night. And Enterprise (which is across the street) stated this is a common occurrence. Marriott needs to posts signs so guest are aware. Emails go unanswered.. The only notification is on the back of the parking ticket- parking at your own risk... that is not sufficient!
