Good location. Better for a one night stay.
The bathroom is two separate rooms. The toilet is literally in a closet. Very tiny. The sink and shower is in a separate room. The sink and shower are prefab - similar to a bathroom in a camper. Good water pressure and lots of hot water. Safe and mini fridge. Coffee and supplies are sporadically replaced. Small bed. Only a double. Room is very hot, dry and airless. Even with the thermostat turned to lowest setting. Window opens just a little. Towels are smaller and trying to get extra towels or toilet paper is a struggle which it shouldn’t be. And it’s nothing to do with a language barrier. Grocery store, pharmacies and cafes are approximately 500 metres away.

The Mercure Hotel was very convenient to the Eiffel Tower; great restaurants & cafes close by. The room was clean, and the staff was very friendly & helpful. We would stay there again when visiting beautiful Paris!

Seen better days
We were placed in this hotel as part of an organised tour for the rugby World Cup. We stayed for 4 nights and the room was so small we were unable to unpack - the wardrobe was full once both our coats were in there. The carpet was filthy and the room generally needed some tlc. The rooms were very hot - air conditioning didn’t work. The hotel was full so there was no room flexibility and even though two members of our party had booked a twin room, they were given a double and had to put up with it. Breakfast was pitiful, very little choice and often no room for all the guests. One morning they “ran out of milk” so there was only black coffee to be had. Apparently, at 10.30 in the morning, they were waiting for a milk delivery. On the plus side, it is near the Eiffel Tower and directly opposite a metro station, so noisy but easy to get around. There is a “gym” which is a small room in the basement with a bike, tread and elliptical machine which are all very old. I’m pretty sure much better hotels are available at a similar price.

Just fine for a few days.
Good hotel almost next to the Eiffel Tower and close to a metro station. Room oke, breakfast moderate and inn a very noisy space. Elevators extremely slow:-) It was for a business trip so oke but for a private trip I should take a more cosy hotel.
