Short trip to Seville
Lovely hotel and staff. Unfortunately the pool and spa were closed during our stay. Also we were on the tenth floor and came home covered in insect bites. We think these were from the bed.Other than that the room was very nice with a great view of the city.

This hotel don't honor their own customer loyalty reward program discount
This hotel don't honor their own customer loyalty reward program discount, very UPSETTING. Here is my story - I booked the hotel room directly from their official website. And after booking confirmed, I immediately realized their is discount for Melia loyalty reward customers. So I emailed their customer service asking to adjust my price according to their discount promised to loyalty program. However, no matter how I called, emailed, and even talked directly to their reception, the only answer I could get is the booking is non-flexible therefore nothing can be adjusted. I explained that I wasn't trying to adjust the booking in any way, simply asking you to honor your own reward program to your loyalty customer. But the answer is always a NO. NO only NO. So here you kicked away your loyalty customer for life. I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends and families. I traveled frequent to Sevilla that's why I have their reward program and now I just want to stay away from it as far as possible. Terrible experience.

Not a pleasant experience
This hotel was gross and i don't know how it has such good reviews. The room was dirty with some sort of stain (red) on the wall and the bed wasn't comfortable either. My gf and I were here one night and then switched to Abba Hotel which was very nice. The bathroom was also very strange with second glass door after you enter, dangerous in middle of night. Also the main lobby was perfumed to a level that was just nauseating, smelled like garbage no joke.

Lovely Winter Break at Melia Hotel
We stayed at the Melia for a 3-night trip booked through British Airways. The hotel is just a 20-minute journey from the airport, and our seamless arrival was made even easier with a pre-booked transfer. Upon check-in, the staff noticed it was my husband’s birthday the following day. They left a thoughtful message from the general manager along with some treats in our room, which was a lovely touch. The hotel is conveniently located across from Plaza de España, with a pleasant 15-minute stroll to the old town. Taxis are readily available outside the hotel at any time of day or night. Our room was spacious, well-equipped, and very comfortable. Breakfast, which was plentiful, is served in a large, airy dining area next to the pool. The pool area itself is attractive and well-maintained, with ample facilities. Throughout our stay, the hotel staff were exceptionally courteous. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend this hotel.
