The Melos described itself as all inclusive but the food while plentiful was terrible and the drinks (beer, soda, cocktails) were watered down. The facilities were fine but a little worn down and they were understaffed for the busy season. I’d consider another place to stay.

Dec 30, 2025Terrible food and lack of restaurant choices
We stayed at Melia over the Christmas break and it was easily the worst all in closing we’ve stayed at in Mexico. The food options were terrible. We were guaranteed restaurant reservations but surprisingly everything was booked across 4 nights. And when we asked about the guaranteed reservation the hotel staff just shrugged. This hotel was packed but seemingly didn’t have the capacity to adequately serve its guests. The buffet dinner was the worst I’ve ever seen - greasy fried food, no fresh seafood, soggy food. The only redeeming quality about this hotel was the pool and even then it wasn’t kid friendly.

Dec 29, 2025Good Breakfast @ Mexican Restaurant & Great Yoga with Alejandra
Enjoyed daily Yoga & the Yoga teacher Alejandra was excellent! She did great poses & put extra time to make it high quality. I liked kayaking was open much of the day. Mexican restaurant & waiters were great for breakfast (global & healthy). The seafood restaurant & buffet were just ok. Pool was too busy imo, facilities a bit older but decent, activities for kids. The cabanas were much better to enjoy the ocean.

Leo Leon activates was very fun. Very happy. Jose and many guys are so nice. Pool was great. I’m a pool man in California. Drinks perfect and food was great. We will come back. My wife and kids are happy. See you soon

Stay away from this hotel 🤮🤮🤮
away from this hotel the rooms smell bad they almost never clean them you call them to come clean and they never come, in the restaurants that are supposed to be all included you have to make a reservation and almost never have availability and when there are only two codes it is free everything else you pay for. I also attach photos we changed 3 rooms one was worse than the other I am also attaching photos so you can see the leak in the rooms and how the reception welcomes you.
