The Level upgrade is worth it
We loved the location of the hotel, it was in the middle of the city. We loved the comfortable beds and the friendly staff. We upgraded to The Level so used the check in on level 6. The staff were amazing there and just couldn’t do enough for us, they really made our trip special. The open bar from 5pm until 7pm was nice, with fantastic views over the city and a good atmosphere in the bar. This nice bar and area, made the upgrade to The Level, worth while. Again I feel the need to mention the staff in this area as they really did make us feel relaxed and comfortable. We had dinner in the restaurant one night and it was nice. The main bar at reception was well staffed and really nice and closes at 12 sharp. The room was big and spacious because of our upgrade to The Level, although it was extremely noisy from outside traffic and people. I suppose with a city centre location, that probably can’t be avoided. Maybe if that’s a big concern for you, you should request a room away from the front of the building. Check out could have been friendlier. Granada is amazing and I will definitely return with family and friends and I would most definitely book Melía again. Mainly because of its location and the staff at The Level area.

great stay in a great hotel
we stayed at the hotel for 3 nights; at check in we were offered to upgrade to a junior suite, and this also allowed access to the lounge on the 6th floor it was the best decision ..the room was large and well appointed, with beautiful views over the city and the mountains; everything was spotless clean the lounge was great for a quiet breakfast and a drink with a view of the sun setting overAlhambra later in the afternoon the reception staff was very helpful all together a great stay

A fabulous stay in a fabulous city.
Stayed at The Level for 6 nights for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. The bedroom was very comfortable with a big bed and a terrace with views over to The Alhambra. The hotel is very well located and we couldn’t fault anything. The main thing that really made our stay was the Staff of the hotel. The receptionists were very welcoming and helpful. The Level Staff were outstanding - very helpful and couldn’t do enough for us to make us feel welcome and special. Would definitely recommend staying in The Level and making use of all the facilities. The views from the lounge and lounge terrace make it a very special place to sit and enjoy a drink or two.

Beautiful Place to stay.
This was one of the finest hotels I've been to in Spain. Location, Facilities, Room quality were all top-notch. Only one disappointment was the location of the room. We were in 502 which was one out of a 3-room colony which could only be entered by people staying in 502, 503 or 504. This makes it quite hard to commute with friends we traveled with.

Granada visit
On arrival we experienced problems with our previously booked reservation. It took 2 hrs to get sorted. Very disorganised and no apologies given or even any effort to recompense for the inconvenience. I have stayed in Melia hotels previously and expected the same 4 star standard . The rooms tiny no English speaking Tv stations , breakfast very poor selection , staff friendly but seemed to lack training . On arrival we were offered extras some of which I would have expected as standard in a 4 star Hotel. Would not recommend would advise to book 3 star cheaper and same standard . On the plus side the shower was great .
