The massage therapist's pressure was just right, it felt great, and my whole body relaxed. I would definitely recommend it to my friends. I hope the therapist becomes more skilled. The environment was also very nice.

We visited in January 2026 for 6 days, 5 nights. The check in was a bad experience and did not reflect the rest of our trip. We traveled with another couple (which we requested to be beside) who was immediately upgraded when we arrived. We asked to be with them and they said they only way we could be with them was to pay 500 USD to upgrade our room. When we declined, they told us we would give us a deal at 300 USD and we could only be with them if they rejected the upgrade or paid the cost. We decided to just not be together, but the kicker was that the upgraded room they were suggested was not available after we declined and they were given the same room but just in a different building. It felt like a scam and did not give us a great feeling when we arrived. That being said, the service we received more than made up for the bad initial experience. Everyone we interacted with was so lovely! A high recommendation for the guys who run the pool bar, who were so much fun and great to order from! For food, we had really great experience with the team at the bazar buffet and the Hacienda restaurant. Food was good, I would not recommend going to the steak house but other than that, everything was good! Room is good, always clean and the mini bar is filled daily. We never needed to call for everything as it was always stocked. The only negative, our room was near the lobby which meant we heard loud base from the party until early in the morning. We used a sound machine so it didnt bother us, but if you are sensitive to sound at night it might be a struggle. There was always a fun event happening throughout the day - we really enjoyed the foam party and the pool games. We did see a few night shows, they were good and a nice way to end the night. The event leaders were great! Very friendly and made you feel comfortable in joining the events. Although we had a rough start, the remainder of our trip made up for it! I would come back to Melia with my kids, as they had a great waterpark for kids and would recommend it to friends and family.

Fantastic stay/ great for kids
This place was great. SO CLEAN. Kids Club, waterpark and Fun Republic were the highlights. Food was just ok but we always found something we liked and definitely didn’t go hungry.
