Dec 26, 2025Our go to hotel when in Seattle.
I located the Mayflower Hotel when researching Seattle hotel options for my family. The hotel was located in a convenient area that allowed us to walk to all desired sites and restaurants during our brief stay. In addition to that, the price for a suite was reasonable. Our Deluxe Two Queen Suite room 707 provided us two bathrooms, a bedroom and a separate living area. While the decor is not modern, the room was spacious and comfortable for our needs. The staff at all levels were friendly and professional throughout our stay. We will not hesitate to book at the Mayflower Hotel during future visits to Seattle.

We have been coming to the Mayflower Park Hotel at Christmas for 35 years. For the first 26 years it was while we lived overseas and we came home to get an infusion of Christmas which the Mayflower Park Hotel always contributed to immensely. Well those days are gone! I guess this hotel came under new management in September of this year? Good-bye quality family run. It is obvious. Christmas decorations….I guess they had three red candles and some ribbon on the table in the main lobby which looked like they had been dug out of the trash bin behind the local Goodwill Store. OMG embarrassing. Good luck finding a poinsettia or anything else about Christmas…one had to look hard. Upon check in it took 20 minutes to have someone take my key to park my car. And this isn’t the staff’s fault, they are completely understaffed. The staff is doing the best they can under terrible management. Olivers bar connected to the hotel??? Just not the same unless you like smaller drinks for higher prices and poor service. We are so disappointed after all these years and our little two to three day tradition in downtown Seattle at the Mayflower. I guess next year we start a new tradition at a new hotel and bar. If the hotel was a child, family services would take it away from the new management.

Seattle experience for old world charm
Old world charm and a location that can only come from being there so long. Terrific spot 5 mins walk from monorail to space needle and central Seattle shopping. 15min to Piper st markets and waterfront. In house Oliver’s bar is a must do, share an entree and main meal while having the signature Martini

Beautiful hotel. Room was comfortable, clean and wonderful view of downtown Seattle. Great location for walking the area.

Great spot in downtown Seattle!
The hotel location is central to many downtown sites and easily walkable to Pikes Market and the light rail. Very friendly hotel staff and romantic, nostalgic rooms. Would recommend 😃
