We decided to stay at this adorable resort for my 40th birthday with 3 other couples. We were greeted by the room being decorated with a Happy Birthday sign as well as 40th bday balloons. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was amazing. The rooms are kept clean and have very cute names. Highly recommend the beach fromt bungalows. We rented golf carts from the resort daily to explore the island. If you are looking for yummy pizza just a few stops away from the resort I highly recommend Moon. Secrets beach is a must. Highly highly recommend the French toast and flat jacks at Tres Coco Waffles and Smokehouse (it is cash only). We cannot wait to go back!

You can't get there fast enough! Go!
The Luxury Seafront Villa was an excellent choice for our first getaway this year. The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. The bath had two sinks and two large closets. The mosquito netting around the bed was a nice touch! The outdoor patio was a great place for coffee. We had a private hot tub with a great lounge area and spent our days relaxing there. Both restaurants were excellent. The food choices were great! Abby did a great job taking care of us and knew how much space to give us when we ate dinner. We did not have one bad meal while we were there. My only suggestion is to add yogurt and oatmeal to the breakfast menu. And, traditional granola. The bar service was phenomenal. We requested drinks to be delivered to our patio every afternoon and they did not disappoint. Also, these were some of the best margaritas I have ever had! The manager Jorge was attentive and accommodating. Also, the staff at the reception desk were helpful as well. The only down side is that it is a 30 minute golf cart ride into San Pedro. We made the trip once during our one week stay to experience the town and eat off the resort. As over 65 seniors, I would not do it again, especially at night. There are a few spots a little closer to the resort than San Pedro and next visit we will maybe venture out that way. However, I won't drive all the way into San Pedro again. We already have a return visit planned in July and two weeks in March. 2024! Delightful experience!

The ultimate resort for the most memorable accommodations during your stay
Could not have asked for better, more memorable accommodations than were provided to us here. We were celebrating a very special wedding anniversary, and the staff did such an amazing job to make it one which we will never forget. Geo made everything so easy, and he was so thoughtful and informative in helping me with setting everything up ahead of time as we had just a few days there. We will for sure be returning to this fabulous resort as they took such great care of everything and the accommodations were simply amazing. Beautiful place with such caring and kind people working there. Would highly recommend this resort for anyone who is looking for an amazing place to stay during their holiday/vacation.

A wonderful 2 centre experience in a beautiful country
Lovely resort , rooms fantastic and the people are the friendliest we have experienced in many years of travelling the globe. We stayed at both Gaia and Matachica and would recommend both highly. The sargassum weed is an issue affecting a vast area in Central America and Mexico and the resort worked tirelessly to keep it at bay. We pray there will be a better solution for this soon. We will be back I am sure at some stage !

Nice balance between luxury and simplicity
Nice balance between luxury and simplicity. The cabins are very nicely decorated and the resort is making an effort to be environmentally friendly. Grounds and pool are super, service is outstanding, nice cocktails and food. People are super friendly, kind and helpful. Location is fantastic, with a beach (rare in Belize). We were there on a very windy week so the beach was full of algae and not good for diving. So we will have to come back.
