  It's not a hotel

  Took my son for a birthday golf vacation week. Warning: if you think this is a hotel . . . wrong. It's some sort of vacation time share. The room was about 10' x 20' two square holes in the wall under the TV, no room service, a peculiar 'foody' smell and worst of all, no amenities. Want morning coffee? - drive. One restaurant, a pizza shop, open evenings only. When I complained, response was, well, 'we have better rooms had you said something' and 'we're not a hotel you know.' No I didn't.

  Worst experience EVER!!

  We have been coming here with our family for about two years now and this years was the worst experience I ever had. We checked in on Saturday into a second floor room and everything was going fine up until Thursday, this day we had been at the living desert zoo since the morning, we didn’t come back till around 12-1pm and when we got back to our room me, my husband and kids took a nap, we woke up around 2ish and were relaxing eating lunch. About 20-30 mins later we got a call that security was at our door when I open the door security was saying that they had gotten complaints of us running around and being loud ( which of course we weren’t) i told them no one is running or jumping and they left then 30 mins go by and they again showed back up saying they could here us stomping, mind you we were just walking normal. I then told them that we are not doing anything. They again kept saying that we were stomping. Mind u we had been in this exact room for 5 days already with no complaints. We were supposed to stay until Saturday but since we had this negative experience we decided to leave Thursday. I truly believe the person or people below us had just checked in and was already complaining even though we had been there for days with no complaints from anyone. I don’t think we will come back to this place again security was very rude and was making it seem like we were lying.

  Great

  Everything was wonderful. We golfed, enjoyed shopping and dining. The facilities were clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay.

  Not relaxing, crowded, early checkout, not enjoyable

  If you're looking for a place to relax, this is NOT it. The pools (that are loud and crowded - more like public pools than a resort) clear everyone out for "breaks" throughout the day for no reason - they said they don't want people to get dehydrated. Wouldn't it be best to let guests decide for themselves or bring out water? Checkout time is 10am and they only parse out late checkouts to a few people (we weren't the lucky ones), and they call and text you incessantly in the morning to try to get you to sign up for their next package. The rooms were decent, but the experience was annoying, corporate and unpleasant. Not what I want for a weekend getaway. Steering clear.

  Nice but…

  Nice facility, somewhat quiet. We were disappointed in how we were treated at the “sell” appointment that was scheduled for us. As I was traveling with my daughter, they asks us to leave after meeting with us for 6 minutes as our husbands were not present. I guess only heterosexual couples need apply. Otherwise, bed and fold out couch bed and pillows were nice, bathroom snd grounds were also fine.
