    EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE

We checked in at the Marriott Grande Vista and had the most amazing experience. Our check-in lady was Olga who was simply awesome making sure we received the exact room we wanted to make our vacation really something special. I can’t say enough about how she called Kimani, the room control person to ensure we got the building and floor we wanted. This kind of service sets the Marriott head and shoulders above the rest. Thanks so much Olga , you are the best!!

Amazing location, friendly staff and excellent villa with view 🌴

Was a little worried as read the negative reviews but we had the most amazing time. The hotel is in a fabulous location for the parks and malls but also has various pools and grounds to relax. We had a 2 bed villa with friends which overlooked one of the smaller pools which was perfect as was quieter than some of the others. All the staff we encountered on site were super friendly with a smile. Our room was cleaned and serviced every 2 days without fail. We used the jacuzzi by our pool and being from the UK it was lovely to chat to American guests about their country. Yes the sales pitch being sent to the concierge was annoying but we just stood our ground and said “no thank you”. Yes they called us again during our stay and another no thank you. Would gladly stay again but would choose the room wisely, we were very lucky in the Golf village. Missing the sun already!

    Beware the time share

Do not confuse this timeshare property with a Marriott hotel experience—your points and status mean nothing here. This is a high-pressure sales pitch to buy timeshare units. Be sure to inform the front desk not to call or text you; I received a call at 7:15 AM on Sunday morning inviting me to the concierge desk for a four-night stay offer. While the common areas are well presented, the food and coffee options were mediocre at best.

    Overall just okay

Overall a decent hotel for an average stay; I can break it down in pros and cons. Pros: rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The resort itself is very pretty and reasonably priced and It was nice to have the small screened sitting area outside. The front desk staff was very responsive when answering questions/ concerns via text. The pool areas were great and kept at very comfortable temps. There is also no parking/ resort fee. Cons: immediately upon checking in we were sent to the “concierge” desk to pick up the parking pass. This was literally nothing more than an excuse for them to try to get you to attend a time share presentation. We arrived later and were tired and they just kept pushing it. It was exceptionally off putting in the first ten minutes of the experience. Room service takes a long time to arrive so if you order, make sure it’s way before you’re actually hungry. For days we had centipedes in our room (not one or two but 5-7). They were constantly showing up and I finally texted to ask them to come spray. The tv in the room we were in was CRAZY small for the size of the room and was located on the wall in such a way that it was uncomfortable to watch from the couch OR the bed. Overall an okay stay but probably would not return

Beautiful rooms, sub par food, no place to buy a bathing suit if you forgot to pack one.

The size of the rooms are great, but just know that if you decline housekeeping ones, they will pretty much ghost you whether you have the sticker to deny cleaning service on your door or not. My villa got skipped for room service three days in a row. The restaurant overcooked my eggs Benedict so the eggs didn’t run at all. I got a soft boiled egg on both of my eggs Benedict. very disappointing. The next morning I went to Brew Coast coffee and I almost threw up because that sausage was so disgusting. Not only that, but the atmosphere was way too loud -one of the staff members had some JBL speaker blaring music that belongs in a nightclub. I am a morning person, but I do not like to wake up and listen to electronic dance music. Even the convenience store can’t even provide cold bottled water. It appeared that all of their refrigerators were warm.
