Best Resort Ever/Exceeded my Expectations
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amazing Stay at Marriott’s Grande Vista – A Perfect Orlando Getaway! Our stay at Marriott’s Grande Vista in Orlando was nothing short of exceptional from the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out. The resort’s location is unbeatable—just minutes away from Disney, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios, making it the perfect home base for an Orlando vacation. We stayed in Building 98 in a two‑bedroom villa overlooking the lake and golf course, and it was absolutely beautiful. The villa looked exactly like the photos—spacious, clean, and well‑appointed. Waking up to that peaceful lake view each morning was a treat. The resort itself is stunning. There are heated pools and jacuzzis at each villa area as well as near the main lobby, and we loved having so many options. One of the highlights was the shuttle service around the resort. We were picked up and dropped off for our pool visits, which made everything so convenient. Grande Vista also offers plenty of daily activities, and we especially enjoyed the Neon New Year’s Eve Pool Party—such a fun and memorable way to celebrate! I want to give special recognition to Michael Rodriguez, our Customer Relations Coordinator. He called us a few days before our arrival to make sure we had everything we needed, and he even checked in with us again after we settled in. His professionalism and genuine care made a huge difference in our experience. A big thank you as well to Angie, who greeted us warmly as soon as we walked in, and Olga, who made our check‑in quick and Roxanne who made our check out seamless. Their hospitality set the tone for an amazing stay. Overall, Marriott’s Grande Vista exceeded our expectations in every way. We can’t wait to return!

Great stay during Christmas week!
This is my third stay at Grande Vista and it did not disappoint. I arrived the day after Christmas and stayed until New Year Day. The resort did not feel crowded. It was relaxing and very laid back. There was a pool party during NYE with a DJ and you can see fireworks from Universal (and maybe other places) at midnight. It was very cold by FL standards and so we didn't stay for the entire party. I stayed in a 2BR lock off in the West village. My only complaint is that the WiFi was really slow in the villa especially in the evenings until midnight. That might have been peak user time as everyone is back from the parks or pool. Otherwise no complaints about the villa. There seemed to be some missing items from the kitchen (a blender and frying pan) but we were provided with new ones shortly after I requested them from the front desk. If you like to fish, this is the perfect resort. My nephew caught tilapia, bass, catfish and countless blue gills. You can rent a rod but I recommend bringing your own gear. Thanks for another great stay and we will be back!

Absolutely do not recommend - feel mis-led please review before booking
This is not a hotel, it is a terrible collection of tired apartments. No water provided in rooms. Basically it is a large v. expensive motel 6! Not good. I don’t understand how all the positive reviews have been sourced. I am skeptical that they are genuine and feel very mis-led so disappointed!

Observations on the Renter Experience
We love the resort and visit every year. However, we’ve discovered that 99% of availability is guaranteed to owners, which makes sense considering their investment. As Canadians, the exchange rate makes ownership difficult, so renting is our only option. It often feels as though renters are penalized — for example, with parking fees — and our building requests are almost never honored. If these requests rarely matter, it may not be useful to ask renters to submit them, even if they’re not guaranteed.

The housekeeper from hades
We had a housekeeper come to the door to ask if we wanted service or just towels. We said we are leaving for a few hours and we would like service. She said well service is only making the bed and replacing the towels. We will not change the sheets and don’t leave any of your stuff on the bed because we won’t touch it. We had been here 7 days already and we were out of soap the tiny sliver they give you was gone. She did not replace the soap and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty the from the day we arrived for the whole stay. We went to cvs and bought a bar of soap. They try to sell you into buying into their vacation club well if this is the treatment NO THANKS. I’d hate to be locked into staying at a place that allows the staff to treat you in such a fashion. We were still very polite to her and thanked her as we left for the day. Who would think a housekeeper could convince a family not to buy into the club.
