Overall good, but look elsewhere if you prioritize the beach.
I am lifetime titanium and paid for 2 ocean view rooms with cash and points. It was a production to get them to actually reserve these as adjoining and even when we showed up it was not guaranteed. The rooms were far back with barely any view.. we looked at the water slide. Rooms are standard small Marriott rooms. Food was overall good, but not on par with a hotel like Grand Fiesta Americana. Much has been written about the food, I’ll just say that the burgers were almost inedible at Mos.. for some reason the burgers are better elsewhere in the hotel. Drinks were very good, not watered down and decent quality. The biggest problem is the beach. They have a very few number of cheap worn out chairs and half-broken palapas placed next to a concrete wall. It feels like a Holiday Inn once you step foot on the beach. There was also a very steep sand drop off, at least when we were there, making visibility of the water difficult as you sit next to the concrete wall. If you care about the beach, you’re better off somewhere else.

A Truly Memorable Family Stay — Thoughtful Service from Start to Finish
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Truly Memorable Family Stay — Thoughtful Service from Start to Finish We stayed here over the holidays with our family and young children, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The resort itself is beautiful, but what truly made our stay exceptional was the staff — consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our experience memorable. Even before we arrived, we felt incredibly well taken care of. A special thank you to Joan, our Ambassador, and Felipe, the concierge who assisted us pre-check-in. Both were responsive, helpful, and proactive in the days leading up to our stay, helping coordinate details and setting the tone for a smooth and stress-free arrival. Once on property, Daniella, the front desk concierge, truly went above and beyond in helping us celebrate our daughter Alicia’s birthday. During an extremely busy holiday week, she helped secure last-minute teppanyaki dinner reservations, coordinated a balloon garland, and assisted with arranging a photo shoot. Her calm, thoughtful approach made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. She played a huge role in making our daughter’s birthday unforgettable. Another standout was IzamAr, who helped us frequently throughout the week. She consistently ensured our kids were comfortable, welcomed us warmly each day, and paid close attention to small details that made a big difference for our family. Her kindness and attentiveness never went unnoticed. We would also like to sincerely thank Jesus (cabana service), Herivierto, Victoriano, and Rogelio (breakfast service), Fausto (Casa Madre), Elio (Italian restaurant), Carlos (morning bartender), and Brenda (hostess). Each of them delivered friendly, attentive, and professional service and made us feel welcome every single day. Tips for Future Travelers • Casa Madre is a must, especially for breakfast. It quickly became our go-to spot thanks to its excellent buffet and more traditional Mexican options. We also had dinner there one evening and found it to be equally strong — a great option any time of day. • Plan ahead for Japanese dining. Both Japanese restaurants are popular and reservations can be difficult to secure, particularly during busy weeks. We were able to try both and personally preferred the sushi experience over teppanyaki, though both are worth trying if you can get in. • Don’t skip Mo’s Diner in the lobby. Mo’s was much better than we had been led to expect. We tried several burgers and milkshakes throughout the week and everything was excellent — an easy, reliable option for a casual meal or quick bite. • Pool and beach seating can be competitive — consider a cabana. Like most all-inclusive resorts, chairs can be hard to come by unless you’re up early. For us, the all-day cabana rental (around $500) often ended up being the best option — guaranteed seating, shade, attentive service, and far less stress. Especially worth it when traveling with kids. It’s rare to encounter a resort where so many individuals leave a lasting impression, but this team truly did. Thank you to everyone who helped make our holiday stay and our daughter’s birthday so special. We’re incredibly grateful and look forward to returning.

Pack your bag with Probiotics and anti diarrheial drugs before you visit this place.
We stayed at this hotel from December 23rd to December 29th. Overall, the property had a great ambience and a vibrant environment, which we truly appreciated. However, we encountered a serious issue: out of six people in our group (two families), four experienced gastrointestinal problems—diarrhea, stomach pain, and vomiting—for nearly two days. This was extremely disappointing, especially considering we paid $8,000 for our stay. We expected high standards of hygiene from a brand like Marriott, and this experience fell far short. Unfortunately, this seems to be a broader issue in Cancun, as local pharmacies were heavily stocked with GI and probiotic medications far more than I’ve ever seen in the U.S. This raises concerns about food safety in the area. Lesson learned: we will avoid Mexico for future vacations unless there is a clear improvement in hygiene standards.
