  We would go back!

  We stayed at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana for our honeymoon in the Club section, and overall had a wonderful, relaxing experience. We were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary room upgrade, and the room was beautiful! They even decorated for our honeymoon and thoughtfully set up when we arrived. The resort and our room were very clean, well maintained, and everything felt taken care of. What really stood out most was the customer service.. staff genuinely went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Food was average overall, but the buffets were good with lots of variety, and the Gourmand à la carte restaurant is definitely worth a visit. The pools were super nice and clean, and the beach was great. One of the best parts: we never had to fight for chairs at the pool or beach, which is rare these days and made the whole trip feel so much more relaxing. A special shout-out to our butler, Richard—he was incredibly thoughtful and kind, checked on us regularly without ever being overbearing, and did everything he could to make our stay even better. He truly made a difference in our experience.

  The Butler Did It ... Amazing Job Osvaldy!

  Just back from one week at Majestic Elegance. Travelled as two couples, club level, early January. Overall an impressive and delightful experience. We arrived late in the evening due to flight delays, met by our butler Osvaldy. He was our saving grace, acquainting us with the resort, finding a bottle of wine, and directing us to the Italian restaurant to rest our weary bones. He checked in on us daily, booking our dinner reservations, a boys-trip to Don Lucas for cigars and rum, golf at Punta Blanca, and general guidance on what was available around the resort. Osvaldy provided kind and authentic service. We hit the jackpot there. The customer service at this resort is second to none. We can offer shout-outs to almost all staff members with whom we interacted: Daniel at the lobby bar, Ismael and Walliam at the club level pool near building 4, Juan at the pool bar (try the Juan Especial!), Ana Maria at the bar in the plaza (such a vibrant, generous person), and the entire staff at the bar at the club level pool near building 1. The room was clean and welcoming, the linens fresh and thick. We received basic amenities, including robes and slippers. As club level there was a beach bag waiting in the room, and Osvaldy provided Elegance ball caps on the first day. The room was a bit dated in style, but not an issue for us. Two sinks, plenty of cupboard space. Very much enjoyed the outdoor patio in the mornings and late afternoons. Beach towels are provided around the resort, which is a very considerate and appreciated feature. No cards or signing towels in and out. Never an issue finding spaces for the four of us to lounge at the pool or beach. The club lounges were great. We grabbed some coffee in the morning, and appreciated the availability of unlimited chilled water bottles. We enjoyed the beach venue for breakfast – a smaller offering than the main buffet, but outdoor dining with a decidedly less frantic vibe. Can’t beat that view of the ocean, either. Lunch there was adequate – the fried chicken is excellent, sandwich makings very good (cheeses and salami are excellent). The main buffet is hit and miss depending on your preferences. We tended to have a pre-dinner drink in the plaza, and then go to one of the a la cartes. Our favourites were the steakhouse and the Italian. Nine Doors was okay (and honestly, way, way too much food), and Limited Gourmand did not meet expectations. (Cold food, indifferent service.) Golf was fun. Osvaldy arranged the golf cart transportation. We rented clubs – choosing Titleists and Callaways (because they had more hybrids in the bag). We brought our own balls from home. We took some waters and food with us, which was needed. The course is forgiving with open fairways, hard sand bunkers, and greens that only one of us could master. Overall, the Majestic customer service establishes a calm and friendly ambiance. We can see why there are so many repeat guests – they’re friendly, open people who clearly appreciate the same in their hosts. We tipped all staff who assisted us. We are grateful for and appreciate their professionalism. We would love to return and get that “Welcome Back” banner on our door!

  Great time!

  Our bartenders and the workers were amazing and super friendly. They made sure we were all having fun. Especially Leuterio, Martha and Juan Daniel Salome and Michael and layden!!

  Phenomenal vacation

  Let’s start at the lobby, as soon as you walk in it is a grand lobby with an enormous, beautiful staircase overlooking a beautiful bar. When we arrived, we were greeted with a welcome drink, escorted to the elegance club, where we waited for our butler. Once we were done checking in, we went to our room, which was exactly what we expected. The balcony of the room was a good size and of course we headed to go eat and look at the beach, it was beautiful and clean. Our first butler.Eliana was not what I’m accustomed to, I usually stay at the secrets tides while in Punta Cana. After expressing my disappointment, our butler was switched to Henry. Let me tell you the experience from then on was absolutely phenomenal, fantastic! Henry was so attentive, every detail was given the upmost scrutiny, and he made sure that he checked in with us throughout the day. He was able to get us reservations at the restaurants when we were told that none were available, he also provided us a bottle to the room, which was not provided previously. Amongst Henry there were waitresses and waiters that were absolutely the best of the best. Robin, Anthony., Raynor and everyone at the steakhouse made us feel just like family. Marta & Santa at the beach were great servers. Emma who was at the Elegance Club than beat the beach was not very accommodating. I had to let Henry know that the simplest request were met with a no, and when I tried to talk to her about it, she made sure to give me her back. I felt that if she was gonna have that type of attitude in the elegance club lounge. She should be in a different area of the hotel. Overall, our experience was absolutely phenomenal and we are planning our next trip for my son‘s 30th birthday and I have requested Henry to be our butler.

  Lovely holiday.

  We stayed at Majestic elegance in the preferred club. We had a wonderful holiday. The grounds were lush and well maintained. The resort was very clean. The staff were all great and So friendly. Our butler Katherine checked In multiple times a day and was very helpful at answering any questions or providing us with what was needed. We were disappointed in the location of our room. They did find us another room and it was an improvement from our first but still not ideal. Both looked out on service roads. I would suggest when paying for a preferred club room a pool view is requested. The food was all good and I must say the Asian night at the buffet was outstanding. Entertainment was the typical type shows you usually find at Caribbean resorts. Bar staff were very friendly and premium brand liquor was available. Overall I would give the resort a 4 star rating and we would likely return.
