  A Beautiful Resort Made Special by an Incredible Staff

  My sister and I stayed at Majestic Elegance Punta Cana from 12/5/25–12/12/25 in the Elegance Club adults-only section close to the beach. This was my second visit and my sister’s fourth, which really speaks to how much we enjoy this resort. What keeps us coming back, more than anything, is the staff. Many have been here for years, and that consistency shows in the level of care, warmth, and attention to detail. Our butler, Arling, was once again exceptional. We specifically requested him this trip because he is such a genuinely kind and wonderful person, and he once again exceeded every expectation. He is thoughtful, attentive, and always seems to anticipate what we need, even making a point of finding us on the beach every single day. We spent a lot of time at the Elegance Club beach bar, which we love. The bar staff, Maxima, Angelyna, Santa, and Marilania, are fantastic and clearly take pride in what they do. The same can be said for the lobby bar team, including Roberto, Yanera, and Alexander. Both bar staffs were not only excellent at their jobs but also genuinely fun and entertaining. There was always laughter, great energy, and friendly banter, which made spending time at the bars a highlight of our trip rather than just a place to grab a drink. We also want to recognize Noel, who took wonderful care of us during the day at the buffet and in the steakhouse at night. Amy, whose name I’m not entirely sure of, was the daytime buffet hostess and also the hostess at See & Sea in the evenings. She was always warm, welcoming, and professional. The See & Sea wait staff at night was also amazing and provided excellent service every time we dined there. The resort itself was especially beautiful during our stay, as it was decorated for Christmas. The main bar area was stunning, with a huge illuminated Christmas tree and festive decorations throughout the property, which added a special touch and made the entire resort feel warm and inviting. It’s rare to find a resort where the quality of service feels just as strong on repeat visits, but that’s exactly why we keep coming back. We had an amazing time and will absolutely return again and again.

  Beautiful but not for me

  I spent a week at Majestic Elegance in early December 2025. Overall, the resort is absolutely beautiful, and I had a lovely time, but I would likely not go back. Air Transat's flight schedule meant I didn't arrive at the hotel until around midnight. There were only a few people trying to check in at that point, but because there was only one person working the front desk so late, it still did take a while. I immediately found out that my pre-submitted request to have a room in a particular area had not been accommodated, and they were not willing to move me from my assigned room. I completely understand, a room request is just that, a request, and they don't have to honour it. However, I would be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed. I'm not a big beach person, and I wanted to be closer to the lobby. To be fair, plenty of people would have loved the room I got instead, especially if they are beach lovers. My room did grow on me over time, especially as I realized how much walking around I'd need to do anyway (more on that below). Once I got checked in, the desk staff asked me to wait a few minutes for a bellhop to take me to my room. I was so tired and just wanted to get into the room, and I only had one rolling suitcase. When I said I was happy to go find it myself, he did not seem happy, but c'est la vie, I'm not there to make him happy. I left anyway and had no trouble solo. That was my only somewhat negative service experience. All the other hotel staff were great, particularly in the restaurants! The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning, and I definitely enjoyed all the Elegance Club benefits including a fantastic butler Nathan and the Bali beds around the club pools. The food was tasty but not spectacular. I never ate a bad meal, but I also never ate a meal I wanted to come back and have again - which usually happens to me at least once at other all-inclusives. What really drove me crazy with this resort, and the primary reason I likely wouldn't come back, is the layout of the Elegance Club pool sections. They are all closed off with hedges to keep them private and separate from the family section. That's great and all, but it also means you have to take ridiculously circuitous routes sometimes to get around. Every trip from the club pool to a bathroom or to get something to drink/eat involves backtracking in some way, and it was frustrating. At times, I went to the family side pool because it was just so much easier to get where you needed to go from there. I would have spent my whole week over there if they had the Bali beds and comfortable lounge chairs that were on the club side. The family side wasn't packed with kids, and the kids that were there were well-behaved, so it was just as peaceful as the club side. Unfortunately, the family side chairs are standard un-padded ones which hurt after a while. So overall, this wasn't the ideal resort for me, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others if they don't have the same pet peeves as I do. There's no question that it's beautiful and provides exceptional service.

  Great first experience at Elegance over Christmas

  This is our first time at Majestic Elegance in Punta Cana and we travelled from the UK, we were travelling for numerous reasons I.e my 30th and our honeymoon. Club swim-up suite: We stayed In a swim-up suite which was massive, which was great. I would probably get a standard club room next time just because we found it wouldn’t bother us having a balcony either. Shout out to Ismael Rosa who takes care of the club pool bar, great service and vibes all week, kept the party going all day. Club: Is the club worth it? Yes it was, our butler/concierge (Eliana Castillo) was just unbelievable, if I didn’t have the club, I’d probably stay elsewhere next time just to see other hotels. I could ask El for anything or for her to sort something as we were celebrating my 30th and my husbands birthday as well as our honeymoon and she just went above and beyond for us every time. The level of service the concierges bring is insane, that is what made this a 5 star resort service, but I also found a friend in El, sharing stories about our life and of course our dogs, it was a really personal experience which we loved. I also have to mention the decorations she put in our room multiple times, just indescribable how great she is at her job, I feel blessed to have met and spent time with her, she is a true asset to this hotel. Oasis day: This is worth noting if you have a celebration and just want to relax and be waited on all day, by far the best birthday I’ve ever had, El also spent time decorating the cabana . It included a 25 minute massage which was amazing, two bottles (we had red wine and champagne), lunch and dinner at the cabana and the best part, we had a more personalised experience with Jose Luis getting us drinks throughout the day. It was nothing short of incredible and well worth the money. Thank you to Jose for the most memorable day, you truly made it special. The grounds: Apart from our concierge and the Oasis day, the grounds are truly stunning and my favourite things about the place was the decor they put up at Christmas, they were incredible, it felt luxury. Do some tiles around the pool need sorting? Yes, but it really didn’t bother us, we seen workers constantly fixing tiles and painting the walls. The groundsmen and gardeners work insanely hard and you can see it, they’re probably the unsung heroes of this place. I would also like to mention Wallium here (pool concierge), When I say customer service, this is exactly what I mean, he would always shout morning across the pool, ask where one of us were if the other was inside, had the biggest smile and was just really friendly and caring. Shows: There is a wide range of shows, our favourite was the rock show and also Elvis. The animation and events team were spot on, Raylenny is great for bringing the vibe and getting people up and dancing, there was another guy but I forgot his name, he is hyper at all times and he’s just brilliant to watch, they were all excellent. My husband wanted to watch a match which was English football and wasn’t on in the sports bar as there was just American games and sports, our concierge put in a request, let’s just say they put it on in the theatre on the big screen, we had the whole place which was empty during the day, it was crazy good and hilarious El managed to swindle it. Workers: You get some incredible employees at this hotel which work very hard to provide a 5 star service despite working long days, they really go above and beyond, for us a “good morning” goes along way, as does a smile, we found that you either received this or you got a whole other vibe but I suppose you’ll find that everywhere. The cleaners wishing you a good morning and going back to a swan on the bed just made my day. The little things make a big different. Restaurants: Sea and Sea - we loved this restaurant, we ate breakfast most days here, the service was high and the view was like no other. Shout out to Francisco for making us feel like family and welcoming us each morning, he stood out massively. Main buffet - I’ve never seen so many choices in one place, if I was only here for a week I’d feel overwhelmed wanting to try everything. Was the food always hot and fresh, no but I wouldn’t expect that from a massive buffet and you always had the multiple options to have fresh food made to order, they were also constantly changing it and arranging things to look presentable. The Italian and Sea and Sea for dinner stood out the most for ambience, service and food. We loved a lot about this hotel, there is room for improvement but the employees that stood out and the added extras made it 1000x better experience for us.

  Ultimately perfect in every way

  Top notch service, Victor our butler was the kindest and most helpful with last minute details as we didn’t preplan much. We were able to scope out and get the full effect for our destination wedding we are planning for October of 2026. Super excited and this engagement trip definitely kicked our adventure off correct. The club is superb and if you love cats they are abundant and super friendly! Ten gold stars! Especially for Victor! 🥰
