We just arrived back from a great holiday at The Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres. Dec18-25 ,2025 Check in had some hiccups as we didnt get the room category we paid for, which seems to be an ongoing issue at this resort. We were told our room wasnt ready as we arrived before checkin but were advised to come back at 230 pm. When we went back we were told it was ready and our Butler would be right there. We waited 30 minutes watching new people arrive and be met by their butlers , including our assigned butler . This was unacceptable and was then assigned another Butler who made every effort to change our first impression. Lalo was amazing and did all he could do to help. After 2 days we were moved to the room we paid for and Lalo was very attentive for the duration of our trip. Highly commend Lalo for being so professional and courteous. Food was Excellent and all the staff were amazing. Shout out to Liv and her staff at the Japanese restaurant who went above and beyond to make my husband's birthday week a memorable one !! She also showed up working at the Steak house and made a point of coming over for hugs and laughs . Beach was beautiful and clean but to get a bali bed or loungers you had to be at beach by 1030 am .The resort was at full capacity so that could have been the reason. Rooms were very clean and spacious. I would recommend this resort even though it started off the way it did. Definitely a 5 star and would go back.

Great week with family - kids 10 and 8
Such a great week at the majestic elegance - nobody wants to go home!!!! A few shout outs to start; Estrella and Alondra are amazing and so sweet to the kids, there is nothing they can’t do!!! Pao and the activation team are also so fun and sweet. Jesus and Irving at flavors, and Isa at the hostess desk for seating us together everyday! Erasmo at the spa was awesome too!!!! So many wonderful staff members that made our week that much more enjoyable. The rooms were great and very spacious. Serviced everyday. We wanted a swim up but they weren’t available. They do get shade in the winter so keep that in mind. We are a family with older kids and were in building 6. It was quiet, we had relatives in 5 and they definitely heard the music at all times. Our friends had the roof top jacuzzi and the stairs / railings need to be improved for safety. Only issue we had was check in - they could improve on customer service and just overall experience (at least for non club guests) we were just pointed to the direction of our room, and had no personal touches. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would return!!

One of the best Hotels we have ever stayed In
Chef Guadalupe prepares the most amazing quesadillas we have ever tasted. Every evening we came back just for them — they were simply unforgettable. Coming all the way from Switzerland, we can truly say that this hotel exceeded all our expectations and was absolutely wonderful. The Mexican restaurant El Mariachi Loco also stood out in a very special way. Every dish was delicious, and the service was outstanding. Jimmy took such great care of us — his kindness and attention made every visit even more enjoyable. We would also like to highlight the incredible hospitality at the reception. From the very beginning, Gyssell welcomed us with warmth and a constant smile. She was like pure sunshine, and we were always happy to see her whenever we passed by the front desk. Finally, a very special thank you to Diego from Il Bottaccio, whose excellent service and friendly personality made our dining experience there truly memorable. This stay was filled with beautiful moments and wonderful people — we will cherish these memories for a long time.

Kids Club
Alondra and Star from the kids Club are amazing, they did a lot of activities for the kids in the club, close to the pool, at the beach. Our kids enjoyed everyday.

Ricardo & Jesus December 2025
Ricardo was amazing! The events he was able to put in for the guests and the energy he cultivated was great. Jesus was another great staff member. He and Ricardo were so welcoming and mad our stay so much more than we’ve ever experienced ♥️
