Our stay at Mahogany Bay Resort & Beach Club, Curio Collection by Hilton was truly a unique and memorable experience. The concept itself is unlike most resorts—the individual bungalow-style rooms create a charming, private, and beautifully designed setting across an expansive and picturesque property. What stood out the most was the exceptional staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Lavinia at the concierge desk, who was so attentive and helpful with anything we needed. And Kimberly, our waitress, went above and beyond—her attentiveness and kindness made every meal feel extra special. The amenities were fantastic. The gym was well-equipped, and the pool area was absolutely incredible—perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the resort. One of the highlights was the private beach club, which is an adventure in itself to get to and feels like a secluded tropical escape. One thing to note: a golf cart is essential for getting around. The resort is spread out, and while downtown San Pedro is a bit of a distance, having a golf cart makes everything easy and convenient. Overall, the combination of a stunning property, thoughtful design, and truly outstanding staff made this an unforgettable stay. I would absolutely return.

My husband and I had a very enjoyable 3-night stay. I booked a standard room with Hilton points, but we were upgraded to a 2nd-floor "keeping cabin", which was much more spacious. The decor has a definite island feel. We enjoyed the village layout of the resort and the variety of restaurants available (some are actually part of the hotel, while others are independent). Every staff member we encountered went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our stay! We took the 11:00 a.m. boat to the Beach Club two days; there were plenty of chairs and umbrellas available, although it got more crowded by mid afternoon. There were several paddle boards but only one kayak, which was past its prime: most of the foot pegs were missing, and the backrests were broken. But aside from that, the Beach Club was a perfect place to relax and enjoy the beautiful turquoise water. There was a water outage affecting our row of cabins during our second night -- we didn't discover it until after we had gone to bed and got up after midnight to use the bathroom. We called the front desk and were told a pump had gone out, but they were trying to get it fixed. We had a snorkeling tour booked for the morning, and were assured that they would give us access to a room with working water so we could get ready for that; in fact, they offered to move us to another room immediately if we preferred. But the water was back on when we got up at 6:00 -- problem solved! Overall, this was a very nice property with wonderful staff and service.

The private beach was great until they started blaring music loud enough that you could not even speak to each other. It was like a nightclub in Miami. The beach was a major draw and it became a major drawback. Had a lot of issues on our 10-Day stay with 12 friends in March 2026, and had complaints to the front desk and to Hilton corporate, didn't even get a response. We stayed there 6 years ago also and it was a great experience. Something changed for the worse. Will never stay there again.

Breakfast was good, the views were amazing but Miguel made it special! He was beyond exceptional! He was friendly, attentive and just a breath of fresh air! Request him if you can!
