Fantastic stay – thank you!
We had a lovely three-night stay and really enjoyed our time here. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and our room was spotless and newly renovated, which made a great first impression. There were a couple of issues, although they didn’t impact our stay too much overall. On the first day, our safe wasn’t working, so I called reception and security came up straight away. The gentleman spent around half an hour fixing it, and while he did get it working, it unfortunately stopped again within five minutes of him leaving. He mentioned this wasn’t the first time it had happened, which isn’t ideal when you’re trying to store valuables like money and passports. We decided not to call again as we didn’t want to lose more time and wanted to enjoy our day. The room itself was lovely and quiet, although there was some noise late at night from slamming doors and people talking in the corridor – not really something the hotel can control. The pool area was very busy, but as it was Spring Break and a hot day, this was expected and we still enjoyed spending time there. There were two aspects we didn’t particularly like. Firstly, the staff member at the main entrance who assists with luggage was openly counting his tips in front of guests, which felt a bit inappropriate. Secondly, the sun lounger situation wasn’t ideal. While we didn’t mind waiting to be seated, we noticed a manager prioritising guests who were tipping, even bringing extra loungers to the front area for them, while others were directed to the back on the artificial grass. After already tipping throughout our stay, we didn’t feel comfortable having to do this again just to get a better spot. We didn’t try the breakfast as we found it quite expensive. Communication before our stay was also quite slow and unclear at times, which initially made us a bit concerned about our booking. However, we were very pleased that the stay itself turned out to be so enjoyable. One final note – it’s worth checking your bill carefully at checkout. We were overcharged twice for food at the pool, and there was also a parking charge added despite us arriving by taxi. Overall, we had a really nice stay and would still recommend the hotel, but there are a few areas that could be improved.

Loew’s Miami Beach: Outstanding staff and Experience!
Everything about this stay was a 12/10. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Seemed very busy but they still offered us a balcony for a small fee. Our package included breakfast. The staff at Preston’s were so nice. The buffet and Omelette bar were Great too ! The pool staff did a great job and we really enjoyed the lounge chairs on the beach. We can’t wait to go back. Oh, and the fitness center had a lot of equipment plus a jacuzzi and Sauna. Top notch !

Can't Wait to Return
After doing a LOT of research, we decided to stay at Loews for the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (despite somewhat mixed reviews). Some of the negative reviews had to do with construction and noise disruption. As of our trip in February 2026, construction was completed. We could tell our room was newly renovated. It was beautifully done and super clean. We booked through Amex and they were able to give us an upgrade to a partial ocean view that was absolutely lovely (full view was unavailable). The staff was fantastic, which included awesome service at the pool by Nico and Chanya (sp?). The location was also perfect. Lots within walking distance. Hotels in this area are pricey but given the event we were attending, the newly redone room, and the proximity to the beach, we perceived our stay as a good value (we considered other hotels that were far more expensive before settling on Loews). We are already dreaming of our next stay!

Madhouse with paper thin walls, not a serious luxury resort
Walls are paper thin. Listened to a kid screaming nonstop for a day and a half. Called management 3 times and they did nothing about it. When you are here for a large conference, management needs to be even more aware of who takes priority here and it’s not the families with the deadbeat parents. Also security was so focused on the people in suits coming through the front entrance to the pool area that the missed the homeless guy come through the back gate and wash his filthy feet in the pool and then take another guests towel to dry them off. Really don’t live up to the Loews name. If I come back next year for this conference I won’t be staying here

No no don’t go near there!
Where to start! Valet parking, swift, efficient and costly. Check in, excruciating. 30 minutes where the staff spent more time helping other staff than me. The best credit card in the world did not provide an upgrade, oh but $500 per night would. BUT, the frustrations with the delay got it down to $400. And a very special complimentary gift would be hand delivered the next day. Well the bill was 500, no budging on that, and well, you can imagine that no special gift ever arrived. And the upgraded “suite” was actually less square footage than you get at Embassy Suites. On to the resort fee, exorbitant. It does get you a beach chair, oh, but the umbrella, well they are very proud of their umbrellas. Water in the room, take your pick, $5 or $10 per bottle, but the ice down the hall was free! This is a beautiful facility with much to offer. I don’t mind spending money at a five star resort but even I have limits. We were in town for the James Suckling wine event and it was fantastic. Delicious wines from around the world, and pleasant people to boot. While I will return to Miami Beach I could not in good conscience stay at Loews again. It was some of the worst money I have spent. And the really bad part is, the couple we were there with had the exact same experience and feelings. And just to be clear, I shared these very same comments with local hotel management as well as Corporate, and their response was to thank me for my comments, etc. etc.
