Amazing relaxing hotel
Amazing hotel, perfect place to relax and have fun with friends. Food is amazing, different options and always fresh. Different restaurant options for celebration with friends or a romantic dinner. Activities are great, you always have an option to do something, even when the weather is no good.

Amazing room and service
We upgraded our room and it was well worth it. The Fuego suite was amazing! It was nice to have the butler service too. Stephine and Arturo took excellent care of us! If we needed anything they made it happen. We will definitely go back again! ❤️

We recommend that you choose Live Aqua for your all-inclusive vacation in Cancun!
We booked an aqua club level king room from 11/7-11/14. As soon as we arrived at the resort, we were told we had a special private check-in up in the Aqua Club on the 5th floor. We were whisked up to the 5th floor. The person in charge of check-in in the Aqua Club was busy with two other couples first, so we were invited to sit and enjoy the food and beverages. Guillermo immediately offered a glass of champagne-how did he know the key to my heart? We sat and drank our champagne and enjoyed some snacks while we waited. An employee named Viri approached us and the way she spoke to us made us think that she was our butler. She gave us a map of the property and explained where everything was located and which dining locations offered breakfast, lunch and/or dinner. Then she asked us if we planned to do any excursions or get any spa treatments and I knew…it was the sales spiel. We said no and she politely walked away. Then it was time to check in. No problems, very quick. One of our butlers, Kenya, met us in the Aqua Club and took us to our room which was on the same level as the Aqua Club. Our room was nice. No complaints. I have seen other reviews with complaints about the air conditioning and the room being too hot because of the motion detector system that shuts off the air when you aren’t in the room. I am always too hot and this room was never hot. In fact, sometimes I felt chilly in the room after a long day of sun. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean with a beautiful ocean view. This resort smells like heaven. Every area has a different scent diffuser and it is amazing. Our floor (5) smelled like chocolate and every time I got off the elevator I would comment about how great it smelled. The spa scents really were a pleasant bonus. The resort is clean. Everything is clean. The beach, the pools, the grounds, the elevators, the hallways, etc. There is a tremendous amount of attention paid to every detail and it shows. The pools are nice and there are many of them so you can find the vibe you are looking for from the different areas. The water was warm but refreshing. Many people bring floats, and we did too, but the pools are all shallow and we found that we didn’t want to use our floats-we would leave them at home next time. We are beach people. The beach is beautiful. You can walk as far as you can see in either direction. The waves are rough. We are from Maryland, USA, and our waves are rough, so we are used to it, but we watched so many people get wiped out by the waves. Be careful if you aren’t used to rough surf. The food was good. Presentation was great. Service was quick. It was the best food we’ve had at a large all-inclusive resort. I don’t eat meat, but I don’t consider myself a vegetarian, and there were options for me, but I would love to see more meatless options (especially the poolside service-I only really ate nachos for lunch). Poolside you can get burgers, hot dogs, ribs, tacos, paella, and nachos. Later in the day you can get custom-made crepes and sushi. There are vegetarian menus for several of the restaurants and we ordered from both menus. The breakfast buffet at Siete was my favorite because there were so many things from which to choose. The habanero soup at MB really is as good as everyone says. The pesto at Varenna was good and my husband enjoyed lunch at Azur several times. My husband had filet mignon at MB twice and a steak at Varenna and said all were delicious. The staff: every single staff member was kind and helpful. Every staff member treated us kindly and seemed to enjoy their job. A few to note: Francine at Azur is amazing. Our butlers Kenya and Ruddy were super helpful in making reservations for us and answering any questions we had. Ruddy helped my husband arrange for flowers to be delivered to the resort for my birthday. Kenya was the sweetest person and met us every time we saw her with a big smile and a wave-she is so cute. All of our breakfast and dinner servers were kind and happy to help. The pool and beach servers were also great. We only had one small issue and that was with the cabanas. Everyone says you need to get a cabana to enjoy the pool and I know I’m not a pool girl but we saw so many people say it was necessary and we decided to try it. If you want to reserve a cabana, I would suggest reserving it as far in advance as possible. We were down at the pool every day by 8:30 or so and the day we wanted a cabana there were only a few available at that early hour. At our request, our butler reserved us a Bali bed with an umbrella poolside but I really wanted a cabana with curtains for privacy in case I wanted to take a nap. We went to the towel hut and they offered us a cabana in the intermediate section between the pool and the beach. It was surrounded by sand, so you had to rinse off if you wanted to get in the pool and it was HOT. I felt like I was baking under that white cabana tarp and we had to keep the curtains open to get some air flow. We paid for the cabana, in the area of $75 US, and a 20 minute foot massage was to be included. I wondered how we would know when they were coming for the massage. It turns out, the towel hut should have scheduled an appointment time for our foot massage and they never mentioned it to us. My husband asked our butler about it at the end of the day and she arranged for the foot massage within about 30 minutes of his text, but I was annoyed that we had to ask for a service that was supposed to be included in a $75 cabana rental that I thought was too hot. We weren’t offered food service at our cabana either but it was so hot in there that we left and went to go get lunch to cool off. I really did not see the benefit of renting a cabana and I don’t think we would do it again. You can’t eat on the beach, which is a bummer, but it was fine and I don’t need to be snacking all day anyway. Drinks were so good. My fave was the frozen mojito. If you think they aren’t strong enough, order a shot of tequila and that will get you going. Drink service was good and I was able to get a drink anytime I wanted one. Overall, we loved our stay at Live Aqua and we will visit again!

Beautiful Resort! Great food, welcoming and accommodating staff.
This was our seventh visit to Live Aqua Spa Resort, and it continues to exceed our expectations. The resort impresses with its stunning beauty, exceptional cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality. From the vibrant entertainment team—Maria, Franky, Taylor, and Ricky, whose energy and cheerful spirit light up the days—to the skillful yoga sessions led by Daniel, every moment is infused with joy and relaxation. Daniel’s yoga class is a must-try, leaving you with a profound sense of peace and balance. A special mention goes to Executive Chef César Germainne, whose dedication and attention to detail ensure every dining experience is impeccable. He regularly checks in on guests, making sure everyone feels cared for. Chef William & chef Antonio also delights with their culinary creations. Our favorite restaurant, MB, never disappoints, thanks to the outstanding service from William, Rohibi, Rodolfo, and the welcoming Angelica and Belen. Poolside, Miguel keeps the drinks flowing with a smile. This resort feels like a second home, and we can’t wait to return next year. Thank you, Live Aqua team, for making every visit unforgettable!

4th time at Live Aqua- will be back!
This was our 4th time at Live Aqua Cancun and it was fantastic. We stayed at the Aqua Club again and it is well worth it- easy check in and check out and awesome butler service! Pros- the location is beautiful, the people who work there are incredible (especially Stephany, Marisol, David, Jonathan, John, Rudy, Oscar, Flavio, Damien, and all the guys at the towel station, so many more) and offer amazing customer service, the pools are awesome, the spa, the food is great, the entertainment is awesome (shoutout to Ricky, Frank, Maria, etc) and this place has really become a home away from home for us. The guy who makes tacos outside on the grill is a genius and so sweet. Don't miss the tacos! Cons- the jacuzzi in the men's hydrotherapy area was broken and it was ice cold yet my husband was still instructed to go inside. We are also starting to notice that they will need to do some maintenance as the space is starting to age (the jacuzzi tiles are coming off, the pool leaves your swimsuit with a green hue, and the hotel is just starting to show its age a bit) All in all, we will still come back to our Live Aqua family- it is a beautiful place to relax! Just hope they do some TLC sooner than later.
