Beautiful resort.
I went with my 2 girlfriends for my 50th birthday and from the minute we arrived the staff couldn't have been any more helpful. We were in a double poolside view junior suite, we didn't feel we missed out on anything not being part of the aqua club. We had 24 hour room service, drink and food service when we were at the pool or beach. Entertainment was great, entertainment staff, servers, bar staff, receptionists, cleaners, room servers were all very friendly and helpful. Live aqua is beautiful and plenty of pools, the beach is on your doorstep and lots of places to eat without having to reserve. The teppanyaki was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

Not the experience we hoped for
The biggest issue for us was the black mold in the ground-floor swim-up rooms. I have bad asthma, and since it rained most of the time, we were stuck in the room more than we’d have liked. As soon as we walked in, you could smell the mold. The hotel tries to cover it with mold-resistant paint, but it doesn’t really help. If you have asthma or breathing problems, it’s definitely something to think about. After the first night, my chest was really tight, so we asked to switch rooms. Our butler was super helpful and understanding, but the manager wasn’t nice at all and acted like we were making it up—even though we showed them pictures and checked other ground-floor rooms with the butler, who agreed there was a problem. Eventually, we were moved to an ocean-view room with a jacuzzi, which was nicer, but we had originally paid for and wanted to stay in the swim-up room, so it was disappointing. Things didn’t start off great either. When we arrived, there was an ambulance outside, which we were told was for a guest with stomach issues. Then at the Mexican restaurant, a guest threw up at the table next to us, and the staff just ignored it. We ended up leaving, which wasn’t the best first impression. Toward the end of the trip, both of us got sick too. Since we didn’t leave the hotel, we assume it was the food or a bug going around, which could explain the ambulance and that situation on our first night. We had a fly that appeared to have been dead for a while above our bed, we asked the cleaners if they would be able to move this for us, thinking if we did this ourselves and it landed in the bed it wouldn’t be ideal, of course that’s exactly what happened we returned to our room to find parts of the fly in the bed and on the sink area, luckily we had already asked to move rooms anyway but this really isn’t acceptable to leave a room like this. On the bright side, the food choices were great. Even though we got sick, the meals were really nice, and we never had a bad meal at any of the restaurants. The lunch buffet was especially good, with a great variety of hot food. The Japanese restaurant was amazing and became our favorite. We also loved the coffee shop and ended up going there a few times a day. The BBQ nights on the buffet patio were a fun experience too. The staff (apart from the manager) were lovely. Our butler was incredible—he helped us with the room issues and even got me seen by the on-site doctor when a mosquito bite got infected. Thanks to him, I got the medication I needed, and everything cleared up quickly. The entertainment team was great too, and there was always something to do if you wanted to join in. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the pool areas are stunning. It’s the kind of place where you can see the potential for an amazing holiday. Unfortunately, we just didn’t have the experience we were hoping for, especially at the price we paid. We’ve had better trips to places like the Maldives for the same cost, so we probably wouldn’t return.

Would visit again
The wonderpool bar was by far my favorite place to have a couple drinks. Amelfy and Jonathan are amazing. By far my 2 favorite bartenders. The resort is beautiful but very quiet and not a lot of activities. Food was ok. Not bad but not great either

Just Like the Pictures!!!!
Amazing Resort. The food was very good. We loved our room and the amenities. We had a VIP swim out room with a butler. Our Butlers were very attentive. The entertainment was also very nice. The drinks were made perfectly and the bartender was doing tricks while making drinks. We will definitely return.
