Great Stay but Elevator Issues Dampened the Experience
We stayed at Level Los Angeles - Downtown South Olive for 3 nights in a 2-bedroom junior suite. The location in DTLA is excellent—close to several restaurants and easy to get around using Uber. The suite was perfect for our family of four, offering all the amenities we needed. The Wi-Fi was fast but limited to only 5 devices, which can be a bit restrictive if you're traveling with a family and multiple gadgets. Unfortunately, the elevator situation was a major drawback during our stay. On the day we arrived, only one of the four elevators was working, leading to long wait times and overcrowding. The following morning, even that single elevator stopped working, and we had to walk down 16 flights of stairs—only to find a terrible smell and human waste on the stairway exit. This was a huge inconvenience. Thankfully, the elevator issue was resolved by the afternoon, and things were smooth afterward. Despite this, I would still recommend the hotel for its location, spacious suites, and amenities. Hopefully, the elevator maintenance is improved for future guests!

Terrible experience with lift and human feces!!
We had a terrible experience. We arrived really late around 11pm. Only one lift was working abd there was a party going on. We couldn't get on the lift for 15 mins and had to squeeze in with our luggage. What was worst is that next day, even that one lift stopped working. We had to go down 16 floors. One of us had knee injury and other had Mobility issues. It was injurious to travel down like this. When we got to the lobby level, there was human feces in the corridor and leading to exit door. It smelled horrible and we just couldn't believe how a hotel can function like this. When I reported it to the reception, they didn't even apologise!! Disgusting!!! We have travelled to many parts of the world and this is not something we ever experienced!! Cleanliness in rooms was also not good.

5 Stars! Great Hotel
I recently stayed at Level Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles, and it was an outstanding experience. The service was impeccable, with every staff member ensuring my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. A special mention goes to Craig, the Manager, whose professionalism and dedication truly stood out. Emmi at the front desk was incredibly welcoming and efficient, making the check-in process a breeze. The views from the hotel are absolutely stunning, offering a beautiful panorama of the city. Whether you're visiting for business or leisure, Level Hotel combines luxury and comfort perfectly. Highly recommended!

Wondeful stay
We had a wonderful stay the last week at the end of October. We had a special request and it was perfectly respected, thank you very much for that to the hotel staff. Besides, the young man who welcomed us is truly a great professional. The apartment was very clean. The bedding is very good quality. The neighborhood is not as dangerous as I read in some comments. Indeed, we can come across drugged people (like everywhere in Los Angeles) but you just have to move on. I felt much safer than in Paris or Marseille in France. The gym, with very good equipment, is open day and night. The location of the hotel is perfect for going to different tourist places. Outside, the swimming pool, the jacuzzi, the sauna, the hammam and the basketball court are very well maintained and really very appreciated for having a wonderful stay and relaxing between visits to Los Angeles. I highly recommend this hotel. Luc DUVAL

Wouldn’t recommend to friends
Stayed here for four days, large apartment but no housekeeping in the four days we stayed. Didn’t sit on the balcony once because of the constant smell of weed from other apartments balcony’s. Friendly staff but wouldn’t rate the area due to the amount of homeless/drugged out people in the area 😕
