Excellent stay all around - no negatives at all - great staff
To be honest I was hesitant to book here due to some of the reviews. We had a total of three rooms, for a small family reunion for three nights. Everything exceeded our expectations. Check in was friendly, professional and very helpful with all our requests. I was recognized as a Marriott Elite member. We were provided with renovated rooms on the 8th floor, temperature control was perfect, hot water, internet, everything working perfectly. Rooms were clean and welcoming, a bit on the small size (as all rooms in Paris) but extremely comfortable and with very good sound insulation. Breakfast was amazing, with an egg / omelette station cooked to order, all manners of breads and hot and cold buffet. We also appreciated the 6:30 to 11:00 AM breakfast time every day including weekends. All in all a great location, you can walk from Porte Maillot RER / metro inside the Palais des Congres, and just cross the street to the hotel. Definitely coming back on my next trip. One last word on the staff, whether breakfast, reception desk or housekeeping, amazingly friendly and helpful.

Great tourist hotel perfect location
This is a very good hotel popular with tour groups. I stayed solo but had queen size bed, fridge, free bottled water, water filling stations on every floor near lifts,Fantastic buffet breakfast including crepes, omelette station, bacon, scrambled egg, pastries, fresh butter and beautiful breads.and much more. In your room there is a kettle and coffee and tea and small tubs milk The location is great.Across the road is a conference centre and in the basement is a pharmacy and supermarket. There is a taxi rank out the front, a railway station a few minutes away. I caught a cab a few times, prices were reasonable 11 Euro to near Eiffel Tower. You can walk past the railway station and down the Boulevard Army to the Arc De Triumph, you walk under the arc via an underground tunnel and emerge the other side on the Champs Elysee. I caught the Hop on Hop off bus just there, this saved me battling on the railways with hordes of pickpockets waiting at popular stations where tourists get off. I am a Senior with arthritis in the foot and the walk took me about 15 minutes pleasant flat walking to the ARC. Many restaurants surround the hotel area. I did not like the meal I had in the hotel restaurant. that was the only complaint I have. Theres even a Mcdonalds up the road from hotel if you feel like that. All the staff spoke English and were very nice and kind. As a tourist all my needs were met especially as I was alone.. I recommend this hotel for solo, couples and families. good safe upmarket area.

Being remodeled ok property and good location
The hotel is going through floor by floor renovation so a lot of noise but when it is all said and done the refurbishment will be a real plus. New beds. Carpet, a complete redo of the bathroom. Nice touches such as a rain head shower and a great flushing toilet. All new plumbing. There is a nepresso coffee maker in the room which was a treat as we got up early. The window to the room only cracked open and that was insufficient to cool the room as Paris in October was still warm. The AC systems are non functioning this time of year and only blow air. It is a tourist ikea class hotel for sure. But it is within a short walk to the RER, major bus lines and the Arch De Triumph. Plenty of restaurants in the area and I especially loved the patisserie three blocks away called Bonjour Paris. But excellent bread and pastries shops are everywhere. The restaurant reminded me of an employee cafeteria serving just basic breakfast foods. Breads are terrible especially since it is Paris. I have seen enough Marriott scrambled eggs and weird greasy bacon to last a lifetime. Since the pandemic, Marriott has really cheapened their restaurant food quality and its hotels in general. Still charging highway robbery prices for what was in this case a tourist class two star hotel. We travel Europe a lot and see the same happening everywhere. I am always thrilled when my Marriott obsessed husband refuses to pay the crazy prices they want and we stay at a non affiliated local hotel that is just as good and their breakfast better.

Useless reception staff
Booked months in advance as a treat for my partners 60th and booked a double room. Arrived and was told our room wasn’t ready and was either offered a smaller room or an hour wait so we went with the wait as we were promised our king size room. Went back to reception an hour later and was given our keys only to find we’d be put in a small twin room. Went back to reception and explained it wasn’t what I’d booked and was basically told there was nothing they could do to help. Really dismissive and very upsetting when this should have been a special weekend. No apology or attempt to rectify what I’d paid for.
