Le Méridien Denver Downtown – Great Location and Atmosphere
Le Méridien Denver Downtown is very well located, right in the heart of downtown, making it an excellent base for exploring the city. Service throughout the hotel was very good — professional, friendly, and attentive. The rooms are relatively small, but well designed, modern, and comfortable. Everything felt clean and thoughtfully arranged, so the room size did not negatively impact the overall stay. One clear downside is parking. It is difficult to find, not well organized, and extremely expensive, which is disappointing for a hotel in this category. The food at the hotel is very good, both in quality and presentation. A real highlight, however, is the rooftop bar — fantastic atmosphere, great views, and absolutely a must-visit when staying at the hotel. Overall, a stylish hotel with strong service and an outstanding rooftop bar, slightly let down by the parking situation.

Good Experience at the Le Méridien Denver
I am a frequent traveler and a Marriott Titanium Elite member, so I base my hotel reviews on both the brand’s standards and my personal experiences. I stayed one night at Le Méridien Denver Downtown. While I don’t believe this property offers suites, I was given a very nice room that met my expectations for the brand. The room was comfortable, well-appointed, and suitable for a short business stay. I was recognized as a Titanium Elite member at check-in and received a breakfast credit as part of my benefits. Breakfast was served in the hotel’s restaurant and was ordered from the menu rather than a buffet. The quality of the food was excellent, and I was very happy with my selection. The service at breakfast was friendly and attentive. The staff throughout the hotel were welcoming and professional, which contributed to a pleasant overall experience. One interesting aspect of this property is that it shares a building with the AC Hotel. Guests have access to amenities across both brands, and I understand breakfast could also be taken at the AC Hotel if preferred. The building also features a very nice rooftop bar. While I didn’t visit in the evening, I did walk through the space during the day, and it’s a very well-designed and inviting area with great views. The location works well for downtown Denver, with easy access to restaurants and nearby attractions. Overall, this was a very solid stay with good elite recognition, a strong breakfast offering, and friendly service. I would stay here again.

Great food and service
The food and service was great. Ben is a great server. You need to get the bread pudding! We also had the scallops and French onion soup. All were amazing.

Swing and a miss - likely will not return for what I expect at this level/price
This review is about value - and I feel this hotel was below value for the money spent here compared to other hotels at this level downtown Denver. I had 5x annoyances: 1) When trying to talk to a manager by request, I was asked "what is this about" and was denied, which caused me to not extend my stay. 2) Plastic wrapped plastic cups - this is not what I expect in a "4 star" post covid hotel, 3) There's this "open air bathroom" concept that is really a way to "cheapen" the space by bringing the bathroom into the main room space (and lose basic privacy). 4) Crappy towels - worn out and small - bath towels are half the size of normal towels. Come on. 5) Housekeeping not respecting my DND sign even though I specifically asked front desk to tell housekeeping them about my late checkout. Common problem, but another indicator of lack of cohesion between FD and HK. Specifically on #3 - as a business traveler, this is not a big deal if you are alone, but if you are a couple and your wife/partner wants to have some privacy or run her hair dryer or anything that reminds you of why a bathroom with a door matters - I would skip this hotel; there is a tiny sink with no room for your stuffs. The shower door literally just opens up into the hotel room. Some bean counter thought this was a better use of space and labels it "European" to make up for this lame design. For less money there are at least 4x hotels within 2 blocks that are in the same class without *any* of these issues. This design won't change anytime soon, but in the mean time, what can be done: Put some actual glasses, not plastic wrap 2-star style glasses in the room for pete's-sake and how about some decent towels? Come on. And while you're at it, when a guest asks to talk to the manager, let them.

Great experience
Aaron helped me with an issue in my room/bathroom and was wonderful. I really appreciate his kindness and professionalism.
