    Not the best vibe

I never leave reviews but I think for the first time I will. This place made us feel so uncomfortable. We arrived early and were given a key to access the pool and check out the property. While waiting for tbe room we decided to check out the bar by the pool, it was about 2pm. We sat at the bar and there was a guy there making drinks. We sat there for about 5 minutes and he never acknowledged us. I understand he was busy cause he was making orders but any other restaurant/hotel/bar that you go to will at least acknowledge you and make you feel seen and say "Hey Ill be right with you" or hello or something but nothing. He was definitely paying attention to the other guests up front. Thats not the only place, we had reservations at the vessel restaurant and the host that sat us down looked annoyed when we went up to her. That night it was busy cause a prom was happening but man by this time i was thinking these people hate their jobs. The only one that was talking to us was a mexican guy that was moving getting everyone water setting up heaters getting ice opening curtains he was super busy but he talked to us. He made us feel comfortable but maybe cause we're mexican too and he's the first one to take time and acknowledge us. He wasnt our waiter at all but I did give him a big tip to make sure he knew he was appreciated, I tipped him more than our actual waiter. I understand the resort has no control over their guests but people there just make you feel like you dont belong there, we got that vibe justby hanging out by the pool. Totally messed up a happy weekend. For drinks we decided to go to cvs and buy drinks and we went back to the pool around 830 once it was empty and hung out for the rest of the night. I wish this experience was different because we were really excited but I dont think we will go back.

    Money better spend elsewhere

In addition to resort fees, expect to pay a fee for parking, a fee for movies, even a fee for water in the room. Old towels, multiple use toiletries, nothing fresh or special.

    Short and sweet!

Short trip but worth the stay! Thank you to Tiffany for a smooth check in and answering my curious little man’s questions! Thank you Kai for helping me book advanced reservations for the restaurant!

    Quiet and comfortable

Perfect location, nice and quiet at night. The sound proofing on the windows is impressive. Despite being near the airport and across the bay from the military base, it is near silent with the balcony doors closed. Rooms were newly renovated and very nicely done. Only thing I’d like to see would be a microwave in the room. Otherwise the fridge was good for a few drinks and some small items. I would book another stay here in the future.
