Great Stay!
We spent a night at the JW after spending a few nights at the Douglas next door. I wish we had stayed at the JW for our entire trip! When we checked out next door around 9:00am, we mentioned we were heading over to the JW to store our luggage while we head out for the day (as we assumed our room would not be ready that early). The agent called over and let the JW agents know we were coming. When we got to the JW desk, the front desk agent was expecting us, and informed us that she had a room ready for us. She even upgraded us to a water view room. (I wish I had gotten her name, as she was terrific - it was the morning of May 20th if that helps narrow it down! lol). Our room was beautiful. Even though it wasn't a suite or anything, it felt so spacious! Loved the big lounge chaise in front of the window, looking out at the great view. Beautiful Bathroom. Especially the marble shower. (Loved that it had the overhead showerhead PLUS the handheld one, as that's something I missed while I was staying next door.) I typically don't use hotel robes, but these were very comfy. The evening turndown service was a nice touch as well. We didn't use the fitness center, and just had a quick drink on the rooftop spa area. It was nice up there! Would be great if they had a larger whirlpool out there, as the one they have is pretty small. Overall, all the staff we encountered during the stay were fantastic. The hotel was in a great location. Super close walk to the waterfront, as well as many options for dining/drinks. Our stay felt very luxurious. (Which is probably a shame because now I will be comparing every other hotel to this one.. haha).

Awesome Stay
My wife and I stayed at this hotel in the beginning of May. We were there for a couple of nights. The staff was outstanding! Kyna at the desk was one of the best agents we have ever had. Cassie in the front office and Daniel in landscaping were also welcoming and nice. The staff at the executive lounge were all helpful and kind. The hotel itself was beautiful. We had a great view of the False creek from our window. The location is really nice. We were within walking distance to stores and restaurants. When we left, we were able to easily get a Lyft to the cruise terminal (Canada Place). My compliments to the General Manager for hiring some fantastic associates. If you are going on an Alaskan cruise, I would seriously consider staying at this property. You won’t be disappointed.

Great experience all aound.
What a great hotel. Everything was so top notch, from all the staff, to our beautiful room and great restaurants. Check in was a breeze. From the moment we stepped out of our cab the front doormen greeted us very nicely offering to take out bags even though we only had 2 small bags. We were offered bottles of water right away. The gal at the front desk was so friendly and welcoming. Our room was on the 15th floor with a really nice water view. The décor was so pretty. Bathroom was roomy and bright, the bed was so comfortable. We ate and had drinks at the Honey Salt, the staff there was very professional, friendly and attentive. Also had drinks and appetizers at D/6 which was a sophisticated but fun spot. The bartender made us some specialty cocktails that were spot on. He was so friendly. They have a really nice patio area off this bar with a cool water feature that was nice to hang out by. The location of this hotel was perfect for us as we were going to a soccer game and the stadium is literally right behind the hotel. It is also just across the street from the water with easy access to the water taxis or if you just want to walk along the path along the waterfront. There was not one bad thing in the least that I could say about this wonderful property. Highly recommend for you next stay in Vancouver.

Avoid the parq
This is my third time staying at the parq and it will be my last. I have never not had an issue while being here. The last two times i stayed they had an issue with the emergency alarm with it going off for hours in the middle of the night with no emergency. They offered me nothing for the inconvenience. This time i am staying here currently and since checking in at 4:00 yesterday the internet has been down. Its now the next day and still no internet and no eta on fixing it. Again parq has no answers to when it will be fixed and offers nothing for the inconvenience. Im gonna give them until 11 and then im cancelling my room and moving elsewhere. Its one thing to have something out of your control happen, its another to offer nothing to your guest for your mistake.

The experience was top notch!
This hotel was definitely worth it! I traveled with my kids and wife. We traveled from California for a 3 night stay. As a platinum member, I received a free upgrade and access to the executive lounge (10/10). I was placed on the 25th floor. The rooms were good size and the bathroom was large. The staff was super helpful when I requested room service. As a vegan family, our dietary can be somewhat limited. I was impress that they had vegan options at the executive lounge. When the chef found out our family were vegan, the next day he made an extra special desert (pictures below) and entree. I booked with my Amex and were able to combine my amex benefits with my status of being a platinum elite with Marriott. That led us to have an additional $100 for dining, free breakfast ($60), and access to the executive lounge. Thank for your making this trip possible and thank you for the courtesy free parking for one night.
