    Great hotel with awesome fitness center

    This was a great stay. The fitness facility is awesome! It was spacious and even had squat racks! The lounge on the 4th floor was a pleasure to visit. I had a chance to work in the lounge and enjoyed the food and drinks. Victor's restaurant is a convenient restaurant that has great steak and sushi. I appreciate that it opens until 2200.

    Excellent High End Hotel

    The rooms are large and very clean. Well appointed with a lot of amenities, even things like make up remover & mouth wash that you don’t often get. To be picky, the one thing I noticed they didn’t have was a shaving/makeup mirror. Room was very clean. The had the room cleaned by 4:00 PM each day. Only minor complaint was that some small items were missing on different days. For example, there was no pen in the room the first day but there was one there by the second. Staff were all excellent to deal with. I liked that they sent me a text after the 1st day to ask how everything was and if there was anything I needed. Very large and well equipped gym. Location is right next to the Parq Casino and B.C. Place. Lots of dining options around in the Yaletown Neighbourhood. 7/11 down the block. No Tim’s close but a Star Bucks is opening in their lobby. They have their own restaurant as well.

    Jw Marriott Vancouver

    The service and overall atmosphere of the hotel were amazing — staff were friendly, professional, and the property itself is beautiful. The location and amenities definitely live up to the JW Marriott name. However, the bed comfort was a huge disappointment. After the first day, both my partner and I developed really bad back pain, and it only got worse as the stay went on. We stayed for seven nights and genuinely could not get comfortable no matter what we tried. For a hotel at this level and price point, bed comfort is non-negotiable, and this really affected our overall experience. Everything else was great, but unfortunately the bed quality alone would make me think twice about staying again. For a luxury hotel, this was a major miss.

    A dinosaur that charges for Internet access!

    I was astonished to see that this place charges over $15 CA per day presumably plus tax for internet access. Thankfully we had membership to their data mining loyalty programme. Still any hotel that charges for this? really? In 2026? It has been years since I came across this sort of mullarkey anywhere globally. Pathetic.

    29th Birthday Trip

    It was my 29th birthday and we spent it together with friends loved the room clean, beds were comfortable to sleep on, it was very convenient to have casino in the same building.
