This is a beautiful hotel on a gorgeous white sand beach in a beautiful part of the country.
The hotel is extremely clean, the employees are very friendly, and the beach is white and huge with a very calm sea. It’s a very comfortable room. The food was excellent and the weight staff were very attentive.. And the beach attendant, Sean, was extremely friendly and accommodating. He made visiting the beach, a joy.every day. The adult section of the hotel, Sirene, is very nice if you’re not traveling with children.

Expected more
The JW Marriott Marco Island is a nice hotel, but in my opinion, it feels more like a full-service Marriott than a true JW Marriott. For those who follow my reviews, I always compare apples to apples. You may see a Fairfield Inn with a 5-star rating on my account and a Ritz-Carlton with 3 or 4 stars—and that’s intentional. My ratings are based on how well a property meets *brand standards*, amenities, and service expectations. The employees here were genuinely nice and consistently thanked us for our loyalty as Ambassador members, which is always appreciated. Service from the staff was friendly and professional throughout our stay. That said, when I compare this property to other JW Marriotts we’ve stayed at, it falls short. It is below JW Marriott Cancun, JW Bonnet Creek, JW Marriott Desert Springs, and JW Marriott Miami Turnberry. Even when comparing it strictly to JW properties in Florida, I would still rank it below all of them. Let’s just compare it to the JW Bonnet Creek. As an Ambassador, you have the choice of breakfast or points. At Bonnet Creek, the breakfast is quite substantial and includes cook-to-order options. At Marco Island, breakfast is continental only and very limited, which was disappointing for a JW brand property. For a $15 up charge you can have the hot items. The rooms are nice, but again, not on par with Bonnet Creek or other JW locations mentioned above. It’s also worth noting that JW Marriott Marco Island is essentially a convention hotel originally built in the early 1970s, and that shows in the overall feel of the property. If this were branded as a full-service Marriott, I would likely rate it a solid 4 out of 5. As a JW Marriott, however, it does not fully meet the expectations associated with the brand.

Great Stay
We had an ocean front room in the adults only, Sirene section. There is a pool, section of the beach, fitness room and restaurant exclusively for the use of guests in this section. Although the resort is very large, we felt like we were at a tranquil boutique resort. Service throughout the resort was very good with the exception of breakfast in the adults restaurant. It was definitely hit or miss there. We had the same bellman upon arrival and departure and he was great. Housekeeping was very good. The location is perfect. Direct beach access and close to many restaurants. We will definitely return.

Great Spot with Great Service
When it comes to hotels, most are similar enough. You have a bed, a place to get cleaned up, some convenient amenities. What makes this place different from the other options along the Marco Island beaches is the staff. From the front desk and onsite restaurant staffing to the awesome guys taking care of the guests on the beach. Major shout out to Sean, keeping the beach comfortable and has the best recommendations for things to do and live music (legit one of the coolest people I’ve met)!! I also have to say that the conference center space is very well managed, with every amenity you could ever wish for your event. The food they served throughout the event I attended was fresh and delicious with options to suit nearly every form of dietary restrictions.

A very impressive hotel experience
This is our first stay at this resort and we are very impressed. Sadly we only have 3 nights left . In no particular order , the hotel is beautiful, classy and nicely laid out. All of the restaurants we have been to have been very good. Excellent food and professional service. The room is beautiful. Well appointed, comfortable bedding. Be sure to get the full gulf view- outstanding! The staff is exceptional, professional and very accommodating.
