  Great Choice for a Family

  We’ve stayed at the JW Marriott several times over the last couple of years. If half stars were an option I’d give them a 4.5, but I will round up as I think they deserve a “great” over just “good”. Typically we stay in Casa Maat, but this past stay we needed a suite to have a separate space for our baby, so we stayed at the main hotel. We booked an oceanfront suite. The suite was spacious and intelligently designed. We liked that we could have the sliding doors open when baby was awake and closed while baby was napping for privacy and quiet. The bathroom was huge and we appreciated the 2nd bathroom. The outdoor space was fantastic, the view was great and a perfect place to hang out during naps or after bedtime. Food and beverage is solid and fairly priced compared to Cabo resorts these days. We enjoyed Cafe des Artists, but found their new concept Marhumo to be the star. Their version of the Naked and Famous cocktail was excellent and the food we had (empanadas, fish of the day, and the paella like rice dish) and it was all really good. It was a slow time of year so the resort definitely wasn’t full and the service/housekeeping was all good. They provided a fridge, kettle, and crib for us so we had everything we needed for the baby. We had no issues getting Ubers to the San Jose area for dinners (about 15 min ride). It was even more baby friendly than we expected and while not everything was perfect, it’s a really good choice and we’d absolutely stay again.

  Superb hotel and staff

  We stayed at the Casa Maat section of the JW Marriott. It is exclusive and includes fresh breakfast, snacks and drinks throughout the day, as well as various happy hours featuring high end drinks. If you want to get away from the more crowded parts of the hotel and get personalized service, I highly recommend Casa Maat. The lead Butler, Jesus, and his staff make the stay exceptional. Once they got to know us, we didn’t have to ask for a particular coffee or drink as they magically appeared, delivered by Antonio, Zitlali, or Aaron, with a smile. Dassaed took care all our daily needs with cars, reservations, etc. I cannot express how much they made our week exceptional.

  Wonderful Birthday Getaway

  We have spent a short 4-day birthday getaway at the JW Marriott Los Cabos and were blown away by the wonderful experience. The property is truly beautiful, spacious rooms invite to relax, all the restaurants offer good dining options, the pools are well kept, embedded in beautiful landscaping and were never crowded, and the Jasha Spa is truly a gem for lush relaxation, the Hot Stone Massage was wonderful. But most importantly, the staff in all departments was fantastic, welcoming, and helpful. Yessica at Front Desk, Chrystopher at Concierge, Luis at the Marhumo restaurant, Ruben at breakfast are just a few names we remember among other wonderful team members who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, like our wait staff and sommelière at the outstanding Café des Artistes fine dining restaurant. Very helpful was the hospitality room we were granted on the day of our check out. We returned home refreshed and rejuvenated and will certainly come back! Oliver & Asish, Los Angeles

  Peaceful, elegant, and family-friendly

  Great for the family! JW Marriott Kids corner was amazing! Our 5 year old wanted to go everyday! Clean, safe, fun! Paula, Gina, Sofia, Karla gracias! We also didn’t pack enough diapers for our baby, and concierge Chrystopher came through for us on our last day! Excellent service and beautiful resort.

  Wedding Perfection

  We just celebrated our daughter's wedding at the JW Marriott Los Cabos in mid-November. After touring at least 6 other nearby high-end hotels, we felt the clear leader was the JW. We were not disappointed at all with our choice, in fact just the opposite. The venue of course turned out to be perfect. However it was the all the hotel staff, the amenities, the professionalism, the rooms, the location, the food and beverage, and the warmth of the service that made it 5 Star all around for us and all of our guests. The Brightest Star though, that literally made our daughter's dreams come true, was Avril Gonzalez Martin the Wedding Coordinator at the JW. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. From the very first meeting she made us feel like we made the right choice and it just kept getting better. She was extremely responsive, knowledgeable, patient, and very kind throughout the process. She oversaw all of the many details that go into a large wedding with ease and was there with us from start to finish to make sure the ultimate delivery was seamless and perfection. We could not have done this without her leadership/advice and we are forever indebted to this wonderful person. Thank You Avril!!!
