Another fabulous stay here !
We have just returned from our latest stay at this fabulous hotel. We have been back here many times over the last few years between other breaks as it consistently delivers everything that we could wish for in a holiday and we immediately feel welcome, relax and unwind on arrival. The team are extremely personable yet professional from the moment you arrive and always go above and beyond. We have stayed in a variety of rooms depending on our length of stay and priority for that visit and they are all immaculate and well appointed. This also applies to the whole environment which is beautiful, well maintained and to the highest standard. The gym is well equipped with a wonderful view to enjoy as you train. The food is excellent at all of the eating venues. The hotel is however exceptionally well located in the beautiful Del Duque to walk to numerous excellent restaurants in close proximity, which we do most evenings and also to explore further afield by day. We would highly recommend and are looking to see when we can book a return visit…..

A wonderful hotel.
For those people who want to stay at a top class hotel whilst enjoying the facilities that Adeje offers, the El Mirador is perfect. There is always a significant amount of repeat guests, who like my wife and myself, have identified that this hotel can’t be beaten for location and wonderful customer service. We have already booked for next year.

Bliss
What a wonderful place to stay, from the moment you step into this hotel you relax. Everything about this is hotel makes you want to book another stay ( we met lots of people who were returning clients) The staff are friendly, professional and really can’t do enough for you ( without being too fussy). Tiziana, Diana, Sophia,Ghofran on the management and front desk made a point of knowing your name and making the experience as personal as possible . Davide and Manuel at breakfast were entertaining and nothing was too much trouble . We stayed in Star Prestige and the room was spotless . Lovely Egyptian cotton bedding and good amenities .We will definitely stay again

Simply the best!
This is our fifth time at this hotel and it honestly just gets better and better. Most of the guests have been going for year after year. From the waiting staff to the housekeeping, to the guys at the pool and the management, everyone is determined to make your holiday as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. This hotel is not cheap but you come home feeling that you have had such a wonderful rest from your normal busy life and you can’t put a price on perfection! Breakfast in the mornings is a joy, especially if Letitia is your waitress as she truly goes above and beyond to make sure that your coffee is perfect and that she places you at a table with a lovely view of the gardens and pool. Most of the staff remember your preferences and always do their best to achieve them. The egg station is manned by Amilkar who makes the best omelettes, and who manages to poach your eggs exactly how you like them, never too runny or too over cooked. This is a mean feat when he is juggling three or four egg orders at a time! There is a staggering choice at breakfast, including local honey, hand carved Serrano ham, yoghurts, smoothies, fruit, savoury, pastries - you name it and all of the highest quality. Orlando at the pool is everyone’s friend and makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. He sets up your sun lounger wherever you want to sit, whether it’s beside the gorgeous pool or on the grass with the view of the sea and the sound of the waves crashing beside you. Mid morning and afternoon you are treated to a little pool side cocktail which is always delicious. There is no problem with reserving seats as there is so much space for everyone to sit and the hotel never feels busy. We often had lunch at La Pergola where you can eat from a snack menu (eg Caesar salad, club sandwich) or a more comprehensive lunch menu. Beautiful poolside setting where you look out across the gardens and pool out to sea beyond. Afternoons for us were spent on our lovely large balcony on the top floor. We booked a Suite with Sea View which is like an apartment, with a bedroom, sitting room, walk in wardrobe, bathroom with separate WC cubicle and small kitchen with fridge, coffee maker etc. A wonderful, spacious home from home with housekeeping on call 24/7 if you want extra ice cubes etc. We do take mugs from home though as they just provide cups and saucers which aren’t great if you prefer a large hot drink. Towels are plentiful and replaced twice daily. Bedding is changed every day, the ultimate in luxury for me. The Housekeeping staff do an amazing job and everything is scrupulously clean. The room is cleaned daily within a two hour window of your choosing which is great if you are like us and want to spend the afternoon in peace and quiet on your balcony. There is a turndown service which is blissful - coming back from dinner to more fresh towels and your room all prepared for your night’s rest. I tried the spa for the first time this visit and thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing massage. It is a really lovely space in the basement of the hotel with a nice wellness pool, sauna, steam room etc too. We choose to eat our evening meal out. There are quite a few restaurants within easy walking distance, plus loads more if you venture further back in towards Costa Adeje centre, or, our preference is to go along to La Caleta - 20 mins walk or 2 mins in a taxi (reception will call you one and they arrive instantly) where there is a great selection of fun restaurants and bars. Be sure to go there one night to watch the sunset as it truly is a magical experience. There are plenty of dining options in the hotel too but we prefer to go out and explore a bit. The entertainment in the evenings in the beautiful hotel bar is pitched very well. Some evenings it may be a local talented entertainer, eg Spanish guitarist, or amazing flamenco dancer, and then other evenings much more lively and fun like the excellent Elvis tribute singer. The entertainment is very unobtrusive and there are plenty other places to sit if it’s not your scene but many evenings we have arrived for just a nightcap and stayed until the end as it has been so enjoyable. We’ve even danced (not something we are prone to do often!!). Last but not least is the star of the show - Tiziana, the Deputy Manager. It’s hard to believe that Tiziana can offer the same level of welcome to all the guests because she makes you feel as you are the only ones who matter to her. However, we have watched her interact with so many guests over the years and it is clear she makes everyone feel the same way - very special. We had a minor medical incident on our last morning and having Tiziana there to help us was such a comfort. We really feel she is a friend and we cannot praise her highly enough for all she does for the hotel. Our continued repeat visits are a lot to do with this wonderful relaxing hotel but also full credit must go to Tiziana for the warmth of her reception and for making us feel like the Mirador is our second home. Simply cannot recommend this hotel enough!!

We love the Joia El Mirador
We love the Joia El Mirador. This was our fifth visit and we will keep coming back. The staff are all charming and very helpful. The hotel is perfectly situated and very luxurious. The rooms are very comfortable and spacious. It is perfect for a ten day get away winter sun. We have only one small gripe. The Pergola is sold as an upmarket restaurant serving superior food. We find it very expensive and the food disappointing. Moreover the menu has not been updated in the five years we have been going. However we consider the main buffet restaurant excellent value and very good food with lots of choice. Overall highly recommended.
