Had a very comfortable stay in the King Porch suite on the 3rd floor of the Island City House - good sized sitting room/eat-in kitchen/bedroom. We loved having the porch to sit outside and listen to the wind rustling through the palm trees and the water gurgling in the fountains. The room faces the back of the house, overlooking the gardens, so you are away from the street (although William Street is not that busy or noisy) - the room was very quiet. The gardens were relaxing, and we enjoyed meeting the resident cat, Bert. We would definitely go back! Recommend the Eaton Street Seafood Market (across the street) for a casual meal, and Date & Thyme for lunch + the Old Town Bakery. Had delicious meals also at 7 Fish and Cafe Sole, and a lovely breakfast at Sarabeth's.

Key west
Very nice place.staff was very pleasant. Very warm and inviting atmosphere.will definitely be coming back to stay. Couldn't ask for a better area to stay in.

Walking distance to everything , wonderful stay!
Beautiful garden areas. Pool always cleaned every morning. Rooms are SO cool. Nice to have a kitchen area bedroom and balcony! Walking distance to Duvall, Mallory square and southern most point for two of us 40-50 years old! Management welcoming and great. Fun decorations for holidays ! Felt like ‘Christmas in the Caribbean’. Beds comfy. Shower and bathtub and toilet all were good . No complaints! Would come again!

Slice of paradise
We stayed here while visiting Key West as a family, we booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were very spacious and clean, and had everything we needed to cook if we wanted to. A 10 minute walk to the grocery store does the trick. What we loved most was the property with its gorgeous vegetation, pool, and balconies with chairs and hammocks. It was a little piece of heaven. The price was fair considering the great location (10 minute walk to Duval street and the harbor). The staff was very helpful and kind. We absolutely loved our stay here and would definitely book again if we return to the Keys.

Historic, beautiful, welcoming
Historic, tropical, paradise. We stayed in suite 2, my husband and two teenage kids late July 2025. Wonderful self catering apartment in the heart of the old town. So much character. Helpful friendly staff. Great value bike hire. Oh a Burt, the cute on site cat to pet too! Would highly recommend.
