Feb 08, 2026Secrets Moxche - 2nd trip
TL;DR: Secrets Moxche is a beautiful resort with good food, great drinks, wonderful entertainment options, and is a place we've already come back to once and probably will come back to again. This is our 2nd time coming to Secrets Moxche, and this time was as good as the last. The staff is incredible, and does everything they can to make your experience perfect. The drinks are tasty (and strong), and the food is delicious. Over the course of our two trips, we've visited all the resturants available on the Secrets Side. This time we ate at Suki (Japanese), Ember (Steakhouse), and Allora (Italian). We've gone to Suki on both our trips, and have come away both times agreeing that it's our favorite resturant. That's not to knock the other resturants, they're delicious, but everything at Suki is perfect if you like Japanese food. Also shoutout to the taco stand that gets rolled out in the evening - that may be our 2nd favorite "resturant" on the whole resort. Our first trip we spent a lot of time relaxing, this time we partook in more of the activities. Water aerobics with Daniela was a lot of fun, and Gabriela ran a great volleyball event. When my wife lost her ring in the sand during volleyball, the staff went above and beyond to help us find it, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped to help us. Also shoutout to Araza and Jazmin for giving us a great kayak tour up the Playa Del Carmen coast. They tried to find some wildlife for us to see in the clear blue water, but we had no such luck. The evening entertainment is a great time, the show we watched this trip was "Quirky", a fun show with steampunk themes, incredible dancers, and great musicians. We've seen a lot of shows at Moxche, and they are always a great time! The rooms are comfortable and it's very obvious that they spent a lot of time making sure everything in them is perfect. If you're choosing between Preferred Club and regular rooms, I would say that splurging a bit for Preffered Club is worth it. The tub on the balcony is a wonderful way to spend an evening after dinner/a show. For both rooms though, the vibes were immaculate. From the lighting choices, to the decoration, to the absolute blackout curtains that keep the room dark at night, checking into the room is an early indication of how much care was put into this place. The gardening around the grounds is beautiful, and probably one of my favorite parts of the whole resort. There are multiple different pools on site, each matching a different vibe. The activities pool is a party, while there are pools that are better equipped if you need a relaxing vacation. The beach is great, and the hot tubs are a good time as it starts to cool down in the evening. My wife and I love Secrets Moxche, we lucked into finding it as our first all-inclusive resort experience, and it's really hard to not just come back every time.

Love Secrets Moxche!
Ari, Gabriela, Daniela, and Jazmin were fantastic! We loved hanging out with them during beach volleyball, water aerobics, and the kayak tour. They were so sweet and fun! Overall our experience at the resort was fantastic. We did a regular room, and our daily routine was wake up, walk to the coffee shop for a latte and pastry, head to one of the many beautiful pools, drink so many delicious drinks while mingling with other guests, head up to the room to prep for dinner when the pools closed at 6p, get dressed up to put or name down for a table at one of the amazing dinner locations, grabbed a taco from the taco station and a glass of wine while listening to live music while we wait for our table, then hit up the nightly show. Amazing days! We ate at Ember, Suki, and Allora for our dinners, and were blown away by the variety of options and high quality of the food. We will definitely come back!

Jessica was incredibles she was great with the people. You can tell she loves what she does. We saw the quirky show and we had so much fun I love the activities by the pool and the resort is amazing
