For this resort to be in the $700 a nite range they are skimping big time on alcohol choices.There were 2 bourbons to choose from at every bar. A $20 bottle of regular Wild Turkey and a $23 bottle of Jim Beam,absolutely ridiculous.People are drinking bourbon big time right now and to only have two low budget choices is not a good look.Then the restaurants have more than 2 hour waits because they close the buffet restaurant right before the others open.Not good at all.

After a year of anticipation, we just completed our stay here. Overall, we enjoyed this resort - it seems like our stay here flew by! Here is our honest review of this lovely property! Great: We loved the grounds and decor of this hotel. Beautiful property with great pools, clean rooms, lovely grounds, and lots of lush landscape. I loved the Le Labo products and other room amenities, nice touches throughout the property, and friendly hard working staff. The pool staff was great and loved getting our sunglasses cleaned daily. Hubby got sick and we had to run to the pharmacy for more cough meds - it was so nice to pick something up there and have assistance picking the right product. Balcony and tub in our room was great, especially during chilly nights when hot tub was packed. Loved seeing the furry critters come out around the property. Loved the different pool options and the fact that they are heated is a bonus! Beach is also nice and well maintained. AmStar also provides great transportation as their partner. Good: we enjoyed the various drinks around the hotel and also spent most nights in the sports bar. We also liked the extra touches like the taco and churro carts. Needs improvement: the food was not good and the lines to get into restaurants at night were hours long. Perhaps offer reservations?!There are a few things this hotel should also consider for a better guest experience. For example, we had to download an app to act as our room key, but this meant we always had to have our cell phones with us. There is another app to see what is going on at the hotel too but a fellow guest told us about this, not staff. It would be nice to have a more streamlined experience. We also didn’t like having to request additional amenities and instead wish they were automatically replenished. Chips and m&ms in room were never restocked (minor issue I know). Bad: did not enjoy the sales pitch immediately upon checking in or again at check out. Also, during our stay the common spaces (restaurants, theater, night club, etc.,) were all sweltering to the point we were not able to spend time in these areas. I’m not sure if their a/c was broken for a few days but everywhere we went on the first day/night was unbearable. After a day in the sun, having no respite from the heat was a challenge. It took about 3 days for our room’s temperature to drop as well. Overall, this resort is lovely and we would recommend this resort to others. We are glad we finally got to experience it for ourselves!

Amazing hotel, best hotel I’ve ever stayed out. The food is unreal, lots of activities. Special mention to Sebastian and Gabriella who brought high energy. Had a blast! If you come across them bless them with tips See me with the sunrise behind me on the beach!

Gabriela and Sebastian from the entertainment team were amazing with all the activities carried out and were so much fun. The hotel was beautiful with lots of pools and restaurants to choose from. I would recommend

Amazing
I really enjoyed my experience at Secrets Moxché! Everyone was really nice!! I made amazing friends with the Secrets Entertainment Team! They always wanted us to be included in there fun activities!! The team included Monica, Gabriela and Axel!!
