Star Camp is free and part of the all-inclusive experience at Iberostar and features more than 140 age-based activities based on the approach and theory of multiple intelligences, which advocates personal growth through cooperation.

We recently stayed at this hotel as a family group, and while it was an acceptable experience, it certainly wasn’t memorable or exceptional. All of us agreed that we wouldn’t return. It wasn’t that the place was terrible; it just lacked that "wow" factor that would make us want to come back. The service overall was mediocre, with most staff appearing either rude or uninterested. The exception was Rasheeka at the Selection buffet—she was by far the friendliest and most attentive member of the team. The kids’ star camp was a fun activity for the little ones, which provided some enjoyment during our stay. The drinks and food were just okay, and the maid service left much to be desired. We were disappointed to find that there was no room service available, and the restaurant hours were quite unaccommodating, especially with small children in tow. Additionally, we noticed cleanliness issues throughout the property. One alarming incident involved blood on the hall, stairs, and wall, which the cleaning crew ignored until one of us spoke to a manager. Glasses were often left on the floor near the elevators, and it took another intervention for someone to clean that up. The floors in the stairwells were dirty and unswept, contributing to an overall feeling of neglect. In summary, while our stay provided us with basic accommodation, we were left feeling underwhelmed. There are certainly better options available for families looking for a more welcoming and clean environment.

A great trip! Hotel and amenities were clean and very nice. Food was excellent. We ate at the buffet and Italian restaurant and the seaside grill and all were delicious! Special shout out to Annifah the hostess at the buffet who was professional, kind and so warm. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was so attentive. Brenda was especially great! We were so pleased with the cat sanctuary on site and can tell that Melissa and Jennifer really cared for those animals. What a wonderful endeavor that is supported by Iberostar! We did a sunset snorkeling cruise with Dressel divers. Shavaughne aka Skipper and Captain Lando made it such a great time! While there were some people selling things at the beach, they were so lovely and friendly that it was a pleasure to see them. We especially loved Damian and Paula. Overall a great experience and would highly recommend this resort. Thank you to all the hard working staff who made this trip amazing!

Spectacular Resort for First Stay in Jamaica
March 28 – April 4 This resort was spectacular. With six restaurants to choose from, an ice cream and milkshake parlor, a pub, VLT room, live stage, and plenty of activities for children, there was always something to enjoy. You definitely won’t be disappointed staying here. “Yeah Mon!”—these five individuals truly stood out during our stay: • Amario (evening buffet) was incredibly funny and welcoming. • Too Short (entertainment team) was outgoing and super friendly. • Deandrea (morning breakfast buffet) was attentive and very kind. • Duwayne (Uncle Tony’s) provided excellent customer service and top-notch service skills. • “Miss Lady Sparkles” (Calypso stage) was an absolute standout emcee—fun, energetic, and unforgettable. Thank you all for making our vacation such a memorable experience! One suggestion: consider removing some of the couches in the rooms, as both rooms we stayed in had a musty smell coming from them. March 29 – April 2 There are a few areas that could use improvement. The morning bartenders at the swim-up bar and the bartender at the Calypso stage in the evenings could be more friendly. Similarly, the staff at the Pier 27 store were not very welcoming—laughing at guests is unprofessional and uncomfortable. Additionally, the repeated attempts (up to four times) by staff to promote tours of the neighboring resort became quite frustrating. A more respectful, less persistent approach would be appreciated. Lastly, there should be better management of beach sellers, particularly regarding individuals openly offering all kinds of drugs, as this negatively impacts the overall guest experience.

This resort was spectacular, from the choice of 6 restaurants, and ice cream/milk shake parlor, a pub, vlt room, a live stage and activities for children you surely won't be disappointed. Yeah Mon-These five individuals stood out during our stay!!!! Amario from the evening buffet was amazingly funny and welcoming. Too short from the entertainment team was outgoing and super friendly. Deandrea from the morning breakfast buffet was attentive and very friendly. Duwayne from Uncle Tony’s has great customer service and wonderful serving skills. Miss lady sparkles from colypso stage was a kicka$$ emcee. Thank you for making our vacation an experience to remember!
