    Downgrading experience

    I was in Punta Cana on business and was staying at The Grand, but decided to extend my stay. The Grand didn't have rooms available so the Coral was available and didn't have a minimum stay requirement, but what that meant was I would be able to access the amenities of the other resorts except for The Grand. I figured I had 4 nights there this should be okay. The reception experience was okay. Staff was nice and inviting, but it had the feel of an upscale motel experience, if there's such a thing. We were greeted by what we thought was a concierge, but was nothing more than a timeshare salesman with concierge vibes. The rooms were more like motel villas. We had a beachfront room, but next to us was an alleyway and a couple of buildings. We were on the second floor so we had outside steps to walk up to get to our room. We were considering leaving and heading to the Hard Rock once we realized things in the room were not working. Several calls to the office with 10min promises of the issue being resolved we asked for a new room the next day. With the help of the timeshare salesman/ concierge we were able to move to an updated room. This was great because our new room was next door to the amenities of the Bavaro Selection which was more of a family friendly resort. We still couldn't get away from people trying to sell us something either on the beach or the main walkways. The location of the first room the beach was extremely crowded and you constantly had people walking by to sell you things. Kind of similar at the second location, but a little less crowded. Either way I enjoyed our new room and location despite not have the The Grand experience. The food was average and overall the experience was an average experience. Downgrading to the Coral didn't give me that I can't wait to come back feeling.

    Our home in Punta Cana.

    Let me star by saying that I may be bias I have been staying at the different Iberostar Resorts in Punta Cana for close to twenty years, but no I am not bias it just that Iberostar keep improving and becoming better every time, where do we star , from August 7 to August 17, 2024, my wife Ana and I stayed at the Iberostar Selection Coral level Bavaro , keep in mind we have stayed at the Iberostar Selection before and we found it great in all aspects, this time we stayed at the Coral Level, From the very beginning we were welcome at the private reception area with the private bar and lounge, to our surprise the manager Natalia Pairo came to greet us in person you can see that she is charming , knowledgeable, and know how to treat guesses as individuals. Our room was all that we expected modern and spacious, the grounds are impeccably manicure . The beach I have said this before is probably the best stretch of beach in Punta Cana seriously, the attention on the beach by the servers is great, they do not forget you and always have a smile on their face, they work very hard tips are appreciated, some of the servers at the beach and at the exclusive buffet El Faro, Alexander, Felix ,Ramon,Domingo,Giselle,Isabel,Carlos de Jesus,Olga,, Ismael,Santana, Felix at the Coral Level Lobby ,hope that I remember everyone, by the way the food at El Faro restaurant that is for Coral Level guess is the best day after day, Every time a different menu the seafood fresh and delicious, the choice of wines are superb. Before Iforget for the little ones the pools are clean and fun they even have a separate slide area.,as I said at the beginning Iberostar never seems to stop amazing us, it showed that the owner Miss Rosina Garcia knows the value of a returned guess, I don’t want to forget a special mention to Mr Lewis Soler from Iberostar Waves, he knew we were coming and called us to make sure that we were having a great time as always at Iberostar, special hi to Maria the entertainment supervisor.and Melissa Foy who we always contact in our home Iberostar.     Fun birthday celebration

    Took a trip for my mother’s 70th birthday with family and we had an amazing time. The Coral level is beautiful, we had an amazing time on a Catamaran and enjoying dancing with the wonderful band and dancers at the Bávaro especially Cat Boy. I also enjoyed the Fit Fun Club and took Pilates and HIIT with Glen and Jenni whose classes I loved. I appreciate the hotel’s sustainability efforts and the wonderful staff.

    Iberostar Coral Level Bavaro

    My husband and I recently got back from Iberostar Bavaro Selections – Coral Level. I have nothing but amazing things to say about the resort, StarPrestige Team, accommodations, and the restaurants! We are double black members and we upgraded our membership to Rose Gold on this trip because of how the entire facility and Team treat you like family! We were traveling with a total of 11 family members so it was challenging at times, but this group made our trip so memorable and they were extremely kind and helpful with all of our needs being such a big group. We were so impressed with how personable and the attention to detail upon our arrival all the way through to our checkout. The rooms were beautiful and extremely clean! The restaurants are delicious! I would like to mention these amazing individuals by name and hope that they get their much due recognition for their hard work, professionalism, and truly making us feel like family! We loved it so much that we are going back next month with our entire family again to this resort. Can’t wait to see everyone soon and thank you so much again!     Great Experience! Would recommend 100%

    This is a real upgrade. It is Punta Cana at its best. Better drinks, better service, excellent location. But the most important: EXCELLENT FOOD. The guests were all very kind people too. Just great. Important: The beach beds and beach area in general is the most valuable thing. 10/10
