Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings traveling in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behavior or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.
Spring Break Groups Policy: Students/youth are considered between 16 and 23 years of age. In addition to the Spring Break Policy for all bookings traveling March-April, Groups shall adhere to the following conditions:
- Any student/youth group must be pre-approved and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
- Upon check-in, each group will be required to leave a refundable cash deposit per room for any charges or damages that might be incurred during the stay.

We stayed in the Presidential Suite at the Iberostar Selection Bavaro Suites in October 2024. The suites were comfortable for our family, the bedroom was spacious, and the bathroom was outstanding, having a huge shower and hot tub spa off the bathroom on a terrace. We have stayed on this property three times but the reason for this review is to share my amazing spa experience with the massage therapist Yeini. We get massages every day when staying at Iberostar Resorts and Yeini has been the best so far. She was attentive to my needs, helping relieve stress and my chronic shoulder pain with her skilled knowledge. We will be returning in April and I will be requesting Yeini daily. She is the best therapist I have experienced at all the Iberostars, to include 9 different resorts.

Fantastic vacation
Fourth time in this hotel. It’s beautiful and clean as always, but we are returning back because of staff. Most of them are terrific. Sofi in Los Haitises buffet-the best. the cleaner Brenda, Yenny from the gym- fantastic. And the animation team is super fun - Pablo, Chocolina, Fresca, Ayayay. All deserve a Christmas bonus 😀. Every time in the hotel we feel like at home. Thank you, everybody making our vacation memorable. Highly recommend.

Iberostar suite Bávaro puta cana
As soon as we got through customs we were greeted by our bus driver and guide and they were amazing. Nice, caring and asking questions about our life. We got to the resort and I was in shock. The lights, decor and stores and restaurants amazed me. The rooms are spacious and clean. Staff are always there for your needs of transportation and wellbeing. The pool is perfect temperature and the beach is beautiful. Wavy but so fun for kids and adults. There is a waterpark that is perfect for kids and a swim up bar for adults. Plus the other bars around the pools. My 1 week vacation in this resort is almost over and I couldn’t be more pleased with my stay. The staff are very nice making this stay more enjoyable. We also booked and excursion out of the resort to go see where Dominican people’s make coffee and chocolate, we swam in a waterfall and took a boat ride to explore a cave where they filmed Jurassic park. To me the resort is a five stars. What a great place to spend a week at.

Overall great. Food and service at the main court were very good. Really enjoyed the food and prompt friendly service. Thank you the staff and chefs. We had few breakfasts and then came back for Mexican food theme. Awesome food. Then chef came out and geared to our needs. So thankful

Heavenly location.
We had booked at the Coral within this huge hotel range. This meant our “band” allowed us access to 4 of the 5 hotel inclusive facilities. We definitely couldn’t go to the Exclusive one. The grounds, beach, food, drinks and choice of is omg extensive.!! Everything was available. Staff were really friendly though the majority were Spanish speaking, but, English speaking would always appear. Albeit not fluent, but, smiles and service was not lacking. The only hiccup for us was the consistent push to further upgrade to a higher level of holiday experience. Otherwise a truly exceptional service and location. Oh, not this time of the year either…..it rained in torrents. 😁
