This property opened in April 2024 and it shouldn’t have. Visible construction and AC issues from the moment we arrived

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights and had an overall wonderful time. The food and drinks are amazing! Best I’ve had in any resort. We highly recommend the ceviche station, Jesus and Mario made sure to take really good care of us there. Make sure to also try the tequila tasting with Geovanny. He was able to accommodate us one evening after having some booking issues on the app and he went above and beyond on his presentation with us. The rooms and all facilities were impeccable and clean! They do a great job of keeping everything in line. The beach club was also a neat area to have since the hotel is not beach frontage. We spent a day out there and really enjoyed it. Our only complaint would be with concierge on booking golf tee times. You can’t book online and the club house is not a short walk. You have to have concierge book the tee times for you. They were able to accommodate my husband 1 afternoon tee time at sister club El Tinto which he enjoyed. However he had to physically go back and check with them what times were available because they never communicated with us like they said they would. Secondly, on Monday he agreed and confirmed with concierge for an 8 am tee time for Friday at the course that’s next to the hotel. On Thursday my husband followed up with them via WhatsApp to confirm and they said they would get back to him and never did. We arrived at 11pm from our tour we had booked for Thursday and we had to stop in person to verify the Friday morning tee time and they let us know that no reservation had been booked and there was none available. It was disappointing because he didn’t get to play the course during our stay and part of the reason we chose this hotel was for the convenience of the golf course being next door. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and will be coming back.

Grand Vivid Hyatt
Mexican Chocolate Angel taught us salsa lesson and it WAS SO MUCH FUN!!! Best trip I have had for sure!!! 🤎🥳 would def recommend yall to come!!!
