I stayed at the Hyatt Regency because I was attending the FCM Conference. The hotel met all my expectations and the staff were wonderful in every aspect. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Toronto!
Nice location but bring ear plugs if you like to go to bed early
Very well located hotel. Staff is excellent. Beds are comfortable. Electric plugs where you want them for phone and computer. Free wifi. Rooms are a bit small and lightly renovated. (I have a weird wood panel in the wall between the room and bathroom?) New carpet so that is good and modern furniture is ok. Lighting is not great. My beef is with the noise (leaking toilet) and thin walls. I hear everything in the hall and walls (neighbouring room showering for example). I am also wondering if they stack guests on the same floors - just came up the elevator and 3 people in separate rooms on the elevator got off on my floor - hm. Makes for noisy hallways in the evening as people come in and out. Thankfully the hotel was able to supply ear plugs last night. Ear plugs strongly recommended if you like to be in bed early.
Excellent stay, highly recommend. Staff were very helpful and caring. We arrived early in the morning and didn’t have a check in until 4pm, after a chat with the concierge they let us check in early for a small fee which was a very nice touch!
Family stay at Hyatt Regency Toronto
We enjoyed ourselves and wished we had more time to spend at the hotel using the amenities. The Hyatt has great amenities and is conveniently located. Unfortunately, it was hot in Toronto the weekend we visited and they did NOT have AC turned on for the season (WHAT??!!) so it was unbearably hot in the room overnight. The rooms are also tiny but other than that a good stay and okay size for a couple or a solo traveler.
Fridge didn’t work well and I believe the price of the room was average. If you want an early check in they attempt to charge you more money even though went I booked they didn’t not indicate this. Parking for the night costs more than a daily parking charge which said $10 on the sign but it is 35 bucks for the night which should be a lot less for someone staying the night at the hotel.
