Great place for a mini-vacation over the Holidays. The premises are well kept with local architecture and design. Food was exceptional with local flavor. Enjoyed immensely the nature walk with Melinda, the many trails around the complex and the fires outside. This Hyatt is special as it has preserved a local feel, respect for nature and local Indian culture. Well done

I was so excited for this property, unfortunately I was very let down. Our room, a suite upgrade, was old with a broken TV, hard bed, broken shower head, and a very bland view. The restaurants were okay at times, and awful at others with me getting food poisoning from the buffet. If you are facing toward the mountain way the views are great. The things to do on property look great. Most people that work there were great, nice, and helpful. In the restaurants there were servers though that seemed to want nothing to do with us. Unfortunately based on my room experience, the mostly bad food, and some service that was not the best I don't think I will ever return.

Another idyllic New Mexico Hyatt stay!
My wife, our dog Cooper, and I truly love Tamaya. I’ve stayed a few times and plan many more visits. We enjoyed the spa on our first trip, and I made sure to take advantage again during this most recent stay. My visit included a massage, haircut, and use of the fantastic amenities. Tarah, CiCi, and my massage therapist (whose name, unfortunately, escapes me) all went above and beyond to meet my needs. Coming off a high-energy week after competing in the US National Cyclocross Master's Elite Championship in Fayetteville, AR, I was driving solo back to Mountain View, CA, while my wife flew home and Cooper stayed with her. My stop at Tamaya was exactly what I needed on my journey. Hannah, whom I first spoke to by phone and later at the front desk, was amazing and went out of her way to make my stay special. The female bartender on Saturday night (also unfortunately forget her name, but it was a really neat name…) was fantastic, she was engaging in holiday trivia with me (I was asking her favorite holiday movies and then choosing a trivia question from the movie with the ability to win $25 per correct answer), earning an extra $50 on top of her service tip—it was a lot of fun!
