You can provide an extra bed if 3 people staying. You dont need to wait for us to come to you next day. And you have an unnecessary lamp above the table. We hit our head 3 times in a day. And your room is smelling mold.

Good location, very bad service
Very disappointing front desk experience. We were considering extending our stay for another two nights and approached the front desk to check the availability of a suite. Unfortunately, the male staff member with a Korean accent was extremely rude and dismissive. As a result of this interaction, we decided not to extend our stay, checked out as planned, and moved to the Sofitel next door. I do not believe this Regency qualifies as a five-star hotel. Upon arrival, no one assisted us with our luggage, which was disappointing. The hotel should be downgraded to a four-star rating to better align with the level of service provided and to set appropriate expectations.

Had a pleasant stay in Hyatt Regency Sydney. Rooms were clean, was given a connecting room as requested. They don't give bottled water which was environmentally friendly as there's a water dispenser beside the lift lobby. Check in & out was a breeze. Location was convenient, walkable to most places of interest

Not a 5 star experience
For the price we paid per night ($349aud) the room did not meet our expectations. The room was extremely small with a view of the road near darling harbour on level 2. There was dust in the room, dirt in the bathroom and a musty smell when we entered. The bin had rust and was broken. We ordered room service and the mash potato was like lumpy soup, there was also an $8 delivery fee to the room. It felt extremely basic for what we paid. We were expecting a 5 star time away but it felt like we were staying in an overpriced motel. The staff at the service desk were great though, friendly and the downstairs area with the bar was nice. The bed was also comfy so I can't complain about that. Overall, wouldn't stay again unfortunately.

Nice stay in Sydney
Really nice hotel. Would definitely go back. Nice location, close to Darling Harbour. The breakfast was amazing and staff were really friendly.
