Stunning Views and Service With a Smile
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Regency. All our needs were meet from the first instance of arrival and check-in. Thomas was warm, gracious and friendly. The room was well appointed, and what a fabulous view into Darling Harbour. How very special!

Great location for this upscale hotel
First time to Sydney, and the hotel has a great location. Less than a 5 minute walk to beautiful Darling Harbor and Barangaroo wharf area, with lots of restaurants, ferry access, great sightseeing and a park at the end. We used Hyatt points to book a Club level room, which is well worth it (whether using points or not). Our room was well appointed, great blackout shades, and the air conditioning worked well. Highly recommended!

Great location and very friendly and helpful staff. Just check the mini-bar account if you check-out by leaving the ‘key in the box’ as you may have some additional charges to your account for items you didn’t consume.

Great place to relax after exploring the city!
Excellent stay at the Hyatt Regency Sydney, our room had a great view of the harbour. Lobby was a bustling but relaxing spot to meet up before or after a day out with the breakfast room and bar located next to it. Great location within the City Centre, making it easy to reach of all areas of the city via rental car (parking available opposite the hotel), buses, light rail, trains, taxis and my favourite, the ferries! Love the City, so much more to see and definitely to coming back!

Horrible 1 star rating hotel
This was the worst hotel I stayed in Sydney. We were given a completely different room to what we had payed for. If you’re after luxury with cleanliness this is not the hotel to book. The service was terrible, every time I called housekeeping they would come after calling 3 extra times or not show up at all, the buffet breakfast was always out of food and very messy. My luggage was also damaged by staff who collected our bags. Got yelled and abused by hotel staff when I was told they had given us the wrong room. So disappointed, will not be returning and staying elsewhere next time.
