Dec 24, 2025Stay was okay but may not return
We recently stayed at this Hyatt Regency in Napa and had a mixed experience. The location is excellent and truly the highlight of the property — convenient and beautiful. Unfortunately, several aspects of the stay fell short of expectations. We noticed quite a few small ants on the floor, and the bathroom appeared to need a deeper, more thorough cleaning. The beds were also not very comfortable. During our stay, the front desk and housekeeping both seemed understaffed; our room was not serviced, and it was difficult to get assistance when needed. The on-site dining options were fairly limited, as the restaurant operates more like a bar rather than a full-service restaurant. As a Globalist, I was hoping for a higher level of service and comfort. While the location is fantastic, the overall experience did not quite meet that standard, and I’m unsure I would choose this property again.

We had a great time at this place a few years ago, but this recent visit wasn’t as good. They used to welcome guests with a glass of wine, which was a nice touch for a wine country resort. Unfortunately, that’s no longer the case. Instead, they now offer a wine bottle ($40) in your room. The rooms themselves are outdated. There were also ants and a spider in our room and in common areas. Since the trash wasn’t picked up in the ice room for two days, ant situation got out of control. To top it off, the World of Hyatt benefits weren’t applied to our free night with points stay, and we were charged resort and parking fees even though we had GoH Globalist status.

Great hotel. Room was spacious and clean. Staff was professional and friendly. Breakfast was very good and fresh. Pool and spa were nice. Hotel is in a great location with easy walking to town and the creek trail.

Santa Rosa Best Hotel
Amazing location and a very clean hotel. staff are very welcoming and the ambience of this hotel is warm and cozy especially when the fireplace is on at night in the lobby.
