Mel Brooks was here!
Absolutely loved this hotel. The views, the staff, and the rooms are all great. I felt like I was in the San Francisco of film and television staying here. A real Swanky joint without the swanky prices. My stay has bought me a few months of happiness and sanity. As I trek back to the grind. Games in the lobby for the kids. And a well stocked market with great coffee for mom or dad. Lovely bar and restaurant too. A really well managed hotel. Kudos to everyone on the staff, they are an A+ class act all around.

Adequate, lots of hidden costs
I stayed at this hotel for 4 days while visiting friends in San Francisco. During this time I stayed at the Regency, which itself was a beautiful building, with great services. however, there was an additional hotel/travel fee that I was not aware of that added to my bill, the breakfast buffet was also very expensive at $36 and I was not informed of credit that came with the travel fee that I could’ve used towards the breakfast. Nice but I’ll stick with Hyatt from now on.

Hyatt experience
Disappointed in reception, food quality, consistency, member customer service and overall experience. As a Hyatt member for years in their globalist tier, except for the location and architecture, this location does not at all meet the Hyatt standards compared to other countries.

We were bitten by insects(not sure it's bed bug) But, Great club rounge view
During my recent trip to San Francisco, I staed Hyatt Regency San Francisco one night The hotel looked beautiful in the photos, and it seemed like it had undergone recent remodeling (By the way, I'm a big fan of Hyatt). The check-in process was very pleasant, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. However, the issues started with the room. While I was taking a short rest in the suite I had booked, We got bitten by insects in several places. It definitely wasn't mosquitoes, and judging by the bite marks with two puncture holes, it seemed to be either bed bugs or spiders, or some other kind of bugs. I contacted the hotel, and they offered to change the room for me. They asked me to wait while they arranged a new key and mentioned the room attendant would inform me. So, I waited with my luggage in front of the new room. After almost 30 minutes, the key arrived. In the meantime, I tried reaching out to the hotel via text, but there was no response. Even after sending them pictures of the bites, there was no reply. Nobody informed me about what kind of insects it was until I checked out of the hotel. On the other hand, the view from the club lounge was really nice. However, there weren't many food options available. While I generally like Hyatt hotels, I cannot recommend this particular hotel."
