Exceptional service with views of Epic Universe & Sea World!
I attended a three-day conference at the Hyatt Regency in Orlando. Upon my arrival, the staff member at the front desk greeted me with a smile and offered the opportunity to upgrade to a king suite. My room, 23011, was super clean and the bed was comfortable. The view from the huge windows was incredible - I could see the hotel’s pool, SeaWorld, and Epic Universe (still under construction). The club lounge (Explorist reward) was one of the best parts of my stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing - bagels with lox and all sorts of other options. The beer and wine at night did come at an additional cost , but it was reasonable. I had the pleasure of dining at Coconuts Grill by the pool twice. I was blown away by the fish tacos. The seasoning on the fries was a true standout and a must-try. The Descend 21 Bar was a fun place to relax and have a drink. But I thought the drink menu could use a bit more variety. The conference space was huge and well-kept. When I checked out, Meghan went above and beyond to make sure my stay was amazing. With a genuine desire to help, Meghan even let me stay a few extra hours, making it an unforgettable experience. This Hyatt had exceptional service, and I can’t wait to go back for another visit!

Nice hotel near Orange County Convention Center
A nice sized updated room with comfortable beds and large windows overlooking the Orange County Convention Center. Conveniently attached by a Skywalk to the OCCC with moving sidewalks. Several restaurants were in the hotel that ranged from bars, upscale restaurant, and my favorite BLine casual restaurant. BLine was reasonably priced and opened very early and stayed open late. Ubered to MCO airport as there was no airport shuttle offered.

Wonderful hotel I have stayed at every year for the past 15 years. The rooms are spacious and immaculate. The beds are comfortable. The best tubs anywhere! Awesome restaurants! Everything you meed without leaving the hotel. My favorite place to stay!

I Did Not Want To Leave
Stayed here since the AKC Invitational was at the convention center which connects to the hotel. It was so convenient. And since so many of us brought dogs, the hotel had tissue boxes of green Christmas-y poop bags in the lobby so we could clean up after our dogs. This Hyatt thinks of everything—lots of signs, giving directions on where to go, a clock built into the bathroom mirror so you don’t lose track of time, and a nite lite that turns on automatically, underneath the counter when you walk into the bathroom. The bed was amazing. High, plus and very comfortable. Huge LG tv too. The room we had was large—more than 400 sq. ft., so more than enough room for our golden’s crate. Food was good too. The to-go Market served Starbucks, so we had breakfast there. There is a diner on site which we tried for lunch and it also was very good. The Pointe is within walking distance and we ate at Maggiano’s over there each night, so I can’t rate the Italian restaurant at the hotel. The staff was exceptional—front desk, bell hops, waitresses and housekeepers—all were so friendly and helpful. Service was wonderful. The gym was the OG of hotel gyms, 4 rooms arranged in a semi-circle, with one room devoted to cardio, another strength training, a third core, and the last one Peloton. I was in heaven! So was my husband who enjoyed the huge lap pool. There is a larger pool downstairs that’s more of a splash pool if that’s your thing. I can hardly wait to come back.

We enjoyed the hotel!
The good: Had a great experience at check-in and upgraded from our King Room to a King Studio Suite. The room was amazing. It was quite loud at times, but we didn't mind. The room was on the top floor and the noise was probably AC units on the roof. We wanted a blanket for sitting on the couch, and used the app to request one. It arrived quickly. The meh: At Decend 21, the server was nice, and the chairs were comfy, but the food was not very good. The fish tacos lacked sauce and flavor and the poke stack involved a lot more ingredients than necessary. The bad: After checking in and lugging our stuff from the car (we did not need a bell), to the 31st floor, our keys did not work. We were fortunate that someone actually answered the phone. Help arrived relatively quickly, but my wife was sitting on the floor of the hallway with all our belongings when help arrived. It took him three trips to solve the issue. He was security, and was very nice. No effort was made by management regarding accountability for the inconvenience nor to offer to make up for our experience. Also, I attempted repeatedly to reach someone to help with the premium Wi-Fi that is offered to Discoverists, and no one answered the phone. The issue was never solved. All said, we will definitely be back and would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.
