I visit Mexico City every other month, and the Hyatt Regency Polanco is my reliable home base. Service is outstanding—welcoming, proactive, and consistent. Rooms are spacious, quiet, and spotless, with comfortable beds and smart workspaces. Amenities are business‑friendly and well maintained. The Executive Club Lounge is the star: panoramic city views and a calm setting to work or unwind. Location in Polanco is perfect for meetings and exploring. If there’s a drawback, it’s the on‑site dining, which can read a bit bland—understandable given the international crowd—so I often step out to nearby restaurants for bolder flavors. Overall, an excellent choice for business and leisure travelers; I keep coming back for the service, comfort, and that view.

Turned a Frustrating Situation into a Positive Stay
My husband and I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Mexico City for five nights and overall had a very enjoyable stay. During our visit, I experienced back pain and inquired whether a room with a bathtub might be available. We were informed that such a room was available and would be ready within 10 minutes. Based on that information, we packed our belongings and prepared to move. Unfortunately, despite being told it would only take 10 minutes, we waited nearly two hours and were ultimately moved to a room that did not have a bathtub, making the move unnecessary. Since my husband works remotely, this delay took valuable time away from his work and was understandably frustrating. I spoke with Christina Cruz, the Front Desk Manager, regarding the situation. Christina immediately understood our concerns and took ownership of the issue. She acted promptly to correct the situation and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort for the remainder of our stay. As a thoughtful gesture, she also arranged a massage for me, which was truly appreciated. What stood out most was Christina’s professionalism, empathy, and genuine desire to make things right. Her responsiveness and commitment to guest satisfaction completely turned the experience around and made the rest of our stay very positive. Thank you, Christina, for your outstanding service and care.

All looks fancy and good. The front staff needs to be train for customer support and hospitality. The brunch (Breakfast) mostly designed for local tourism. Room service closes early, not available all the time. If you are AMX Platinum member make sure to remind them you have a free upgrades.

Lovely hotel, more traffic than I've ever seen.
Hotel cleanliness, safety, and amenities were great. I used the water fill station in the hotel with no issues. The location is also ideal; however, the area is very busy so plan for heavy traffic.

Nice hotel
Nice hotel and if you combine this with the AMEX THC then its an amazing value. We loved the location and will probably stay here if again in town.
