Dec 31, 2025Still a good hotel but breakfast nowhere as good as it used to be.
This our preferred business hotel and I stay here a fair bit throughout the year. Always comfortable, always polite and friendly staff and always clean, well appointed rooms. However, since the new hotel manager came onboard (or so I was advised by staff there) the breakfasts are now, sadly, little better than a Premier Inn. Gone are the fruit compote's, gone are the freshly baked different breads, gone are the poached pears and apples and various other delights that made the rest of the day more easy to face. Now we get all the usual suspects that you get at the majority of hotels around the Country. It used to be a real treat going down for breakfast in the morning, taking the time to relax and chat. Now I simply don't even bother booking a room with breakfast included, even though my work would pay for it. Better to go elsewhere to be honest. I do wonder what guests from outside of the Country think. Is this typical of what English people eat? Not me that's for sure. A nice hotel still but now let down by a beige breakfast experience.

The perfect location for an overnight stay in Stratford which serves Westfields shopping plus Stadium. We had a twin and king adjoining which was perfect for us and two teens.

Dec 29, 2025Few hiccups on my stay!
First time staying at Hyatt Stratford, as normally at Marriott Stratford Hotel, but thought I’d give it a try.check. On check in staff wasn’t really welcoming. Bedrooms don’t have bath robes as a standard amenity. Couldn’t call down to Reception as my bedroom phone wouldn’t dial out. The corridor phone on 8th floor wasn’t working either. Bumped into a housekeeper to ask about the bathrobes and she wasn’t helpful and told me they have to be pre-requested. Within 5 minutes of checking in, I wanted to check out and book The Stratford. Fortunately the friendly security guard convinced me to speak to the Duty Manager Charles, who was really helpful, friendly, personable and rectified the hiccups, and cannot fault his guest service. Even though the issue were resolved, not sure I would return. rooms are spacious, clean but the bed wasn’t really comfy, TV’s quite dated, with no Bluetooth option, bathroom door wouldn’t slide/close in the Regency Suite, which as you can image lacked privacy! Also no one was picking up the calls from room service & the restaurant, so unable to order anything food & beverage on my stay.

Hyatt regency Stratford London the best!
We had a fantastic time at Hyatt Regency Stratford, London. Everything exceeded our expectations. The staff were outstanding — a special thank you to Geta, Egle, Sofia, and Ana, who were all incredibly warm, helpful, and professional. Their hospitality really stood out. My husband and I enjoyed cocktails at the bar and they were excellent, perfectly prepared. The bartender was very friendly and made the experience even better. The food was delicious and of great quality. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, with great energy. The hotel was spotless and beautifully decorated for Christmas, which made it feel very homely and festive. We would absolutely return. It’s a wonderful place and highly recommended.

A safe haven
This hotel is a haven in the midst of one of London's busiest shopping centres. Genuinely friendly and welcoming personnel and very well managed in all departments. None of that patronising scripted patter, thank goodness! The breakfast is fabulous! The room was surprisingly spacious, really comfortable and most importantly, quiet. Everything you could need on your doorstep and only a skip and hop into the West End. We will be back, Thank you!
