Comfortable and warm
Great hotel awesome location. Slightly on the pricey side but at par with other 5 star hotels in London. Rooms have been slightly renovated which is great sizes of room are good as per london standards. The staff is very helpful good housekeeping and great upkeep of the hotel. Only thing the club lounge variety and space lacks a lot compared to other hotels. But all in all great hotel

Lovely staff and location on Portman's Sq.
I was recovering from a head cold and received a lovely gift of tea from Mihai Gheorghe, Assistant Housekeeping Manager. This gesture alone impressed me enough to know that I would definitely return to The Churchill next time I go to London. I was only in town for one brief night. John at the front desk upgraded me to a room facing the park. I needed to change and get to dinner and the theater so he made sure that I could check in right away. While I understand that there was a potential tube strike for my day of departure, I didn't enjoy the doorman telling me that I should check in case I should get a taxi. I knew what was going on with the tube but the pressure to hop in a taxi was suspicious to me. Several were lined up and ready outside to take advantage of anyone who didn't check in advance. I recommend the hotel for the courteous treatment by all of the staff, and for the location being convenient for shopping, dining, reaching the west end, and for taking the Elizabeth line tube from Bond Street to Heathrow.

Elegant London hotel with super-helpful staff
An elegant hotel with wonderful staff in an excellent location. Housekeeping was particularly great, everything was handled with care, and when we asked for a small extra blanket, two beautiful cashmere throws appeared. Rooms are small but not cramped, this is a big European city after all. But be aware that bathrooms are tiny -- room really for only one person at the sink -- and the itsy-bitsy bathtubs are so small you can't actually use them to take a bath. (No space to sit down.) Especially for people with mobility issues, trying to climb over the too-high wall of the tub to take a shower is perilous.

love the Churchill
I love the Churchill. Everything runs smoothly, the staff are very friendly, and the rooms are big! also the most comfortable mattresses and i was very happy to have a deep tub to soak in, which is not too common these days. We were able to use the club lounge for snacks and breakfast.
