Absolutely epic pool and great staff. You won't find a cooler pool really anywhere. You literally get to swim through a cave. Not to mention there's a pitch and putt course, bike riding, and even a tetherball. My wife and I found out real quick that it takes way more energy than it did in middle school.

I booked Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress because it's marketed as a family resort near Disney. That turned out to be false advertising. In the middle of the day we turned on the TV in our room with our young children sitting right there. Within 8–10 seconds the Hyatt welcome channel was showing two men kissing. We didn't pick a channel or search for anything. It's the hotel's own promo, and it plays automatically every time the TV comes on. This is completely unacceptable. Parents decide what their children see and when to talk about these topics, not a hotel chain through a video that ambushes kids the moment the TV comes on. If you call yourself a family resort, your default screen has to be appropriate for children. It isn't. Hyatt seems to know this is a problem: another guest reported the same clip at a Hyatt in Texas in March 2026, and at least one other guest here complained about it in a review. Nothing has changed. Housekeeping was just as bad. The day after check-in nobody cleaned our room at all. The next day I called the front desk specifically to ask for cleaning. They asked what time worked best, and I said 11 AM to 12 PM. When I got back to the room at 5 PM, it was still being cleaned. Five hours after the time they agreed to, at a resort at these prices, we couldn't get into our own room. Between the content on the TV and the housekeeping, I could not recommend this resort to anyone, least of all families with children. Management and Hyatt corporate: take this content out of the default welcome loop and fix your housekeeping, or stop advertising yourselves as family-friendly. We won't be back, and we'll tell every family we know why.

Old fashioned and poor service.
Booked and paid for a Pool view … view was actually of the car park roof and was told to walk out onto the balcony and turn to the right.. so would see pool around the corner… 🤯 room very plain and non descript.. fittings tired and carpet I’ll fitting with cracked tile.. well overdue modernisation. Very disappointing for the money … staff not helpful at all.

Amazing vacation destination
Accommodating, pleasant and professional staff. Everything was very clean and efficient. Elevators arrived quickly allowing speedy room access and the grounds were clean and inviting. The amenities were very accessible, invigorating and operated on very generous schedules. I will highly recommend this property to everyone I know. Well done Grand Cypress! 👏🏻

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stunning Resort with Exceptional Facilities and Service
After many years of staying at a different hotel, we decided to try this resort as we felt the standards at our previous hotel had unfortunately declined. I'm pleased to say we were not disappointed. We arrived in the early evening after a long flight, so with it being dark, things can often feel a little confusing. However, the warm welcome we received immediately put us at ease. The reception and bar area have a peaceful, relaxing atmosphere that sets the tone for the rest of the resort. The hotel and grounds are absolutely stunning and immaculately maintained. Our room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned to a high standard every day. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a pool view room which came with the added bonus of being able to watch the Disney fireworks each evening from our balcony, One thing we particularly appreciated was the hotel's no-noise policy during designated hours. It made for a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep throughout our stay. The pool area and pool bar were highlights of the holiday. The food and drinks were among the best we've experienced at any pool bar and the service was excellent. It's worth noting that the service charge is included at the pool bar although this isn't the case at some of the other bars on the property. The resort fee was also one of the few we've encountered that genuinely felt worthwhile. There are so many complimentary activities available including the climbing wall, walking trails, watersports and more making it excellent value. The only downsides were relatively minor. The resort appears to host a large number of conferences which can make the lobby bar extremely busy at times. More frustratingly, I was overcharged for drinks purchased in the shop. I raised the issue during my stay but staff were not particularly receptive and repeatedly advised that the charge was only pending. Unfortunately, the transaction remained pending for over a week and by the time it was processed after I returned home the incorrect amount had been taken. Being no longer at the property makes the issue very difficult to resolve. That experience aside, I would highly recommend this resort. The beautiful surroundings, fantastic facilities, spacious rooms, excellent food and drink and peaceful atmosphere made for a wonderful stay. We will certainly be returning.
